Joe and SoC have touted this in another thread so here it goes...

For all those who joined TFF towards the end of its life you would have missed one of the best features of the non-league section, the in-profile. Basically someone nominated themselves to be scrutinised with various questions from anonymous members of the board (via PM to whoever hosted), some were serious, some were funny and once the questions were answered that person could nominate another member to go through the process.

With a new forum and a fresh enthusiasm for members to post, I figured it would be worth bringing this back. I'm happy to host, anyone willing to go under the microscope?

Also, could someone find a cached version of one from a couple of years back, just to give people a general idea of how it worked?

Edit: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:Lrz94QlMX2MJ:www.thefootballforum.net/index.php?/topic/211782-in-profile-joe/ &cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk

A cached version of Joe's in-profile. Just an idea of how it works.

In-profile's:

Paddy

How do you get them cached versions mate?

May be an idea to get a couple of the funny ones. Master Debator's I recall being fairly funny. Was a few others too.

A young me. Good grief.

I am all for running this again, but it would have to be once every fortnight or something to begin this. I don't have masses of time, so would have to pick and choose when I can run certain features on the forum.

Having said that, if anybody wants to give it a bash then I am more than happy to take a back seat.

I'm happy to run this. As for the cached copies, I just typed in 'non league in profile Joe football forum' - bang, first result. Little green arrow to the right of the URL, click on that and it gives you the option to view the cached page.

So Paddy will be the first member to feature. I'm going to give everyone until 2pm on Monday 2nd February to submit questions at which point I will forward them to Paddy. PM's to me please.

How many questions can we send in?
Of course it's up to Aberstone as it's his feature now but as many as you want would have been the answer before.

If somebody with a bit of intelligence (I'm only on this on my phone atm so cba) could post a couple of links from the other in profiles you can get a real idea of some of the questions that can be asked. Literally anything popped up. I used to enjoy running it and the bonus for me was getting to see who asked each question.

Be good to have this back and with so many new posters since I last ran it, it can only get better. :)

Thank you to everyone who had sent in some questions. The only problem was that with yesterday's posts being erased all PM's were too so I have no questions. If they could be re-sent I'd really appreciate it.

Deuce_Bigalow says it best above, we need as many people contributing as possible.

I'm still woefully short on questions but thanks to those who have sent some in. I'll extend the deadline until tomorrow evening. Assuming I'll get some more questions in (please!) I'll forward them on to Paddy and hopefully get the profile put up later on this week.

Looks like football will be on after all tonight, taking on boards comment from above I'll delay the deadline (once again) to this Friday. Friday 6th February!
