"Anyone that goes down this year has to be monumentally shit given there are only really 2 places up for grabs."
that would be us then !!
not so much "shit" just incompetent.
Confidence will be high, the dodgy weather in our favour, we will be out of sight by half time (or a drab 0-0). Another Lyle Taylor hat trick beckons....
Would take a point, but looking at the line ups surprised if Jackett can't get this pompey side up the table, still we might be able to spring a surprise if we don't concede too early. Options on the bench are good and if it's close in the last 20 mins we could nick it. Still early days...
Didn't realise Walsall had such a clear out I would have made them short favs even allowing for the dismal play off form. So as I am still pinching myself that we are 1) in League One and 2) ever closer to a return to Plough Lane I fancy a 2-0 Womble win.
I think you can name this the Andre Blackman thread and have done with it.
And an honourable mention for Charlie Sherringham who would struggle to get into a pub 5 a side team if it weren't for his old man.
We are what I would call a typical division four side, win some, lose some, can't put a run together. Beat the teams above but lose to those below (nearly always those on a losing run, or in the bottom 2....Hartlepool anyone).
Some good players, some promising youngsters, some very average...
The BBC site suggesting that both sides struggling with their keepers, so I suggest we both play Rush Goalie and the score will be 25-23 as it always was in my youth playing on the local parks.
We are a bit hit and miss (usually a miss when Bayo has a penalty) but I feel it's time for a strong...
Hartlepool win by about 3-0 or more. Strange results are us especially away to lower teams in our division.
Beat Luton but lose to Hartlepool that's us.
