Ugwu looked class and when Woking went ahead the result was never in doubt. No trotting out the usual part time strugglers in a full time league shite either, Woking gave us a real humbling.
Just had a quick glance over at the National South. East Thurrock, Hungerford, Whitehawk, Concord. Fuck...
He was on the pitch for how long? 15 minutes or so? Has he even had a training session with the rest of the team?
Guiseley fans were top draw, loud and in good humour. Hope the taxi returns home safe to Yorkshire.
We very almost went bust (again) before coming home and Hayes certainly had some issues too but we pulled through. Just hope you have some clear direction before the inevitable as you'll no doubt haemorrhage cash/support the longer you're away from home.
So opening day weekend chaps. How'd it...
Been a great new years, turned the corner from our little winless run. Deserved win over the portacabin crew who also managed to sell a whopping 120 of their 400 allocation for the all-ticket fixture. Top effort.
Just not clicking for us. New boys look promising, the goals will come. We are sitting second FFS so don't understand a lot of the negativity.
50 or so H&Y fans present today. What's the point? They likely to be moving home anytime soon?
But our forward line isn't short of forwards who were banging them in at the Ryman level. Fingers crossed though, it has been a long pursuit so Jay has certainly seen something in him. Would think this means someone leaving/going out on loan.
Sounds almost like our forum with regards to lack of goals. Sure he'll come good. Majorly short of match fitness after being a bit part player for most of the season.
League looks amazingly open at this stage.
