I must have missed the part were it was announced that the ref was from Wiltshire. Not sure how he is biased. What’s his motive to be biased. Whilst it was a cracking first half played by two good teams I’m not sure that the ref influenced any of the major decisions. Definite 2nd yellow for...
Seriously, I thought the ref had a good game. Despite that it was a fantastic game. Brilliant first half by both sides and whilst the red card did prove the catalyst for the margin of the win it didn’t mask the fact that we would have won that game anyway
From that still it looks as if there is a small gap between Shade and the Bradford guy nearest the ref. I'd be disappointed if that went against us, however, considering thats only our second penalty of the season (both missed) I guess they all even themselves out. A deserved point nonetheless
I'd say its 50/50 on whether VAR would have ruled it out, however, at best it would have only been a shoulder or foot in an offside position so its the correct decision for me
That’s a good summing up. Didn’t enjoy todays game at all as after being 2-0 up against bottom of the table we should have got 4,5 or 6. Have to say that although Hartlepool were poor they at least made a game of it albeit very defensively as opposed to Colchester last week who were appalling...
Today I drove from Hartlepool back home to Swindon. 5 Hours in the driving rain. For the sake of £1,500 or so I wouldn't suggest that your boys attempt it on Saturday morning
It always surprises me when people post on a football forum but appear to be disinterested in football as they "have more important things to attend to". Havent you got any mates that you can talk to on Whatsapp about your fascinating afternoon?
Youre side were very effective without being outstanding. Certainly bullied our side who looked like rabbits in the headlights at times. 70% possession away from home, yet 0 shots on target was very poor imo. Thought that we would win today but we were poor from minute 1. In fact it was our...
Can’t say I was overly disappointed when Rob Hunt left us. Capable defender , predominately at RB although can play At LB also, however offers next to nothing going forward
Sol Brynn 8/10 - GK on loan from Middlesbrough - Fantastic shop stopper, only loses a mark as his kicking is not that great, however, considering that we mainly play out from the back its not that much of an issue
Conor Brann NA - Signed on deadline day from the Irish League, however, hasn't...
Stevenage away and they are on a great run with x consecutive home wins. We've won our last two away and apart from a small blip last Saturday we are 4 wins from 5. A draw would be a very good result but their run has to end sometime. I fancy a 2-0 to us.
Really surprised that you say that about Glennon as from my vantage point on Saturday he was a very good attacking option. Having said that I was tending to concentrate on our players so I may have misread the situation?
Well worth the eight hour round trip for the Fish & Chip lunch at Papas alone. The performance and three points a welcome addition. Generally acknowledged that our first half performance was our best of the season without, I might add, two of the divisions best midfielders in Reed & Williams...
