Its the travel home that's the problem. Wife probably not be interested in watching match and would go loopy getting back home after midnight. So its a no-go.
But I've love to watch Argyle v Exeter and experience the fierce rivalry between the two clubs.
Bloody 'ell Argyle.
My grandson has just started studying at Plymouth University and his nan wants to visit him before Xmas. I was happy to drive her to city and later watch a game at Home Ground.
BUT Argyle have no 3pm kick-offs until 17 December, at which time grandson will be packing his...
I read report in Gloucestershire Live where Cheltenham confirmed that FGR had made an official approach to interview Micky Moore.

Today I read in Stroud Times that Forest Green...
Going back to title thread, someone mentioned Tranmere Rovers as a recent rival of FGR. A comment I support.
Since their 1st ever meeting in 2015, just seven years ago, Tranmere v FGR has seen both clubs win home and away against t’other in league while both clubs have beaten the other one in...
You gotta laugh, no Cheltenham fan has seen his team beat FGR this century.
Agreed Cheltenham did beat FGR 2-1 in October 2020 but that was behind closed doors [COVID].
But the way FGR are playing this season your team could do the double over them, something FGR have never managed against...
I've been to Whaddon Road on a few occasions when 'Fuck, Forest Green Rovers' is always sung.
Agreed there were moans about Gloucester City when they shared Whaddon Road which apparently the playing surface could not cope with.
Since they moved out, I've not heard any songs about them.
[#] I have total respect for Gloucester City in retaining their support during those 13 years in the wilderness. I can remember when City v Town attracted tons of publicity and crowds and the two teams were not far apart in the league.
[#] Yes attendance at TNL is pitiful, bloody awful. Whether...
Some interesting posts regarding FGR & Cheltenham local club rivalry. There is undoubtedly local rivalry between both teams: they are only 20 miles apart and are nearest league club to each other and are within same county. Both sets of fans probably want to win against other team above all...
Some teams have played 4 away games this season while others have played 6 away.
Table below is therefore team's average, but bear in mind that some teams had exceptional excellent opening matches [such as FGR at Bristol R] that might distort usual average support.
