I'm with Smat - I think this is a score draw. If we had Coqulin and Cazorla I'd feel confident. Flamini - Ramsey isn't the midfield partnership to combat Silva and De Bruyne. What Wenger does in January is more important to our title chances than this match, in my opinion. We can lose this and...
I agree. I think they have the deepest squad in Europe. Last year the lack of dynamic wing play ultimately cost them. Costa - Lewa - Müller isn't quite Neymar, Suarez, and Messi, but it's nearly impossible to keep them from scoring. Barca don't have the defensive quality.
TBF, as one of his biggest admirers, I find he is one dimensional. His best attribute is fostering a belief within his squad that they're capable of that manic energy. It briefly worked with this lot, but there aren't enough players that suit Klopp (as many suggested on here before he was...
You've referenced testicles twice in this thread today, JJ.
When's the last time there was a player at one of the Sky 4 (and Liverpool) that was as universally liked as Alexis?
Walcott and Campbell finished on the left last time out. Campbell has been reliable defensively and will track back to help Bellerin with Sterling.. That starting XI isn't title winning, but it's not a bad side for one missing 3 of its most important players - Alexis, Cazorla, and Coquelin...
It sounds like Alexis will be on the bench, so I expect to see:
Giroud
Walcott - Özil - Campbell
Flamini - Ramsey
Monreal - Koscielny - Mertesacker - Bellerin
Cech
I agree Mahrez isn't going to Liverpool, there will be bigger suitors, I was just pointing out to G-Dragon that they'd be foolish to turn their nose to him. Bayern is a good shout.
Koscielny has had terrible games, but he's also been a constant in a defense that has routinely been better than...
Can something someone habitually does be spectacular?
Edit - G.B. :gmc:
For what it's worth, I think it would be mad for a big club sign Vardy. Mahrez, however, is a superb footballer - he'd be Liverpool's best player.
I think this is the match where our lack of Coq is fully exposed. It'd be nice if Alexis was back, but we shouldn't rush him for this match right before the holiday fixtures.
Why do you like him, though? He's wasted two seasons at the club with the most resources in football, they're playing dreadful football, and he isn't a youngster needing experience. He has been a large disappointment for Manchester United. If he stays on this whole season, I'll have a fiver on...
Ahh, so I was being obtuse. :bang:
To Bilo's credit, he'd offer better football reasoning than "I just think those players have some notable 'air' in their reputations" when I challenged him. Perhaps it's my prolonged exposure to America, but that makes as much sense to me as the Danish language.
I reckon this side could win the Premier League, even with the aging GK no one rates anymore anyways. What's with Scandinavian Liverpool fans and their awful opinions? :hypo:
I'd be more tempted to find it harsh if the man hadn't reveled in being a disrespectful, loud-mouthed twat for over a decade.
Hire Brendan, Roman. Please.
