Yes it would have made more sense to me but I'll bow to Johnson's experience. Apparently Cameron was a striker all through his youth career so he's played the rolle before.
We never get any injury info from the club so no official word on Whitfield but with another 2 weeks I'm hoping he'll be...
Couldn't agree more, Randell was outstanding in the first half of the season in the middle. In fairness he's still been decent on the right, he's got a quality cross in his locker but we definitely miss him alongside Hall.
Word on the street is the reason for the centre half up front today was...
I voted for Adam Randell for ours. Don't usually vote for loan players but he has been outstanding. Only 20 and here for the season from Argyle. Started off as a Jorginho type midfielder when we were battering everybody at the start of the season and just ran the game completely. Injuries then...
Fair play to Barnet they were committed and gave it everything even with nothing to play for. We couldn't handle Adeloye and Mason-Clark at all but still think if we'd gone in 2-up at half time we'd have won it. Second half we didn't deal with the pressure very well and resorted to just lumping...
All over them is over egging it a bit but you certainly look handy up front, different prospect from when we played at yours. Just need to win this not worry about the margin. Don't think it's a given that Sutton will beat you if you play like this, especially in front of your own fans
If we win 3-0 at the weekend (possible?) and you lose 3-0 (very unlikely) we will have identical records going into a final game shootout.
Come on Sutton, give the people (well maybe just me) what they want
Being bored I've looked at our injuries this season and from what every Gull will say was our first choice XI we've missed our full backs for 12 & 14 games, our main centre half for 16 games, our two wingers for 14 & 20 games and of course Danny Wright for 22 games.
Wright says he should be...
Not sure blame's the right word, doesn't matter how long you lead the season all that matters is where you are after all the games have been played that's how league's work, everybody ends up in the position they deserve to be (except those teams who lost to Dover ;) ).
We've still got to play Barnet as well though. Nice little 5-0 for us next week coupled with Sutton losing to Hartlepool and we're top on goals scored going into the final game (we're away to Alty). Unlikely but I'm clinging to any straws I can find.
