Of course it is. At it's most basic level, racism is prejudice/discrimination agaisnt someone because of how they look in terms of skin colour, nationality etc. Anyone who is like that is being racist.
The arguments about power structures etc are related to societal racism, which is as much to...
How many are scousers? Just a load of people with no real connection to Manchester United, Arsenal etc taking the mick out people with zero connection to Liverpool. Hardly an indictment of the core support.
Pretty impressive appointment, nothing guaranteed but he's a very sought after manager. I think this might be the last time chance for Liverpool to pull themselves back up to the top table, if Klopp fails then I see them being cast adrift forever.
Think we will move up the table a bit as the year goes on. Our away support tends to fluctuate with form but also distance, outside of Yorkshire-Midlands territory we tend to take poor numbers, in comparison to the clubs above us anyway.
Klopp's been pretty disparaging about Bayern Munich and their role in German football, I'd be surprised if he went there. Of course the chance of managing a team that can win everything very easily might change that stance but Klopp seems to be fairly principled.
Unless they have a guaranteed replacement in mind, I fail to see the benefit of this. Why let him spend all that money?
He may have been a queg with the media but he had a decent approach towards the game, shame to see people get sacked.
I'm all for doing more to include local fans, I think clubs should at the very least have tickets that reflect the immediate area. Liverpool are based in Anfield, which is poverty stricken and the cheapest tickets are 40 quid? Same goes for all clubs.
Not keen on the xenophobic angle to it all...
Renationalising the railways is actually a very popular idea, even among some Tories. Likewise renationalising water, am I right in thinking nobody can actually choose their water supplier anyway? I think economically he will strike a chord in the way Farage briefly did, but on a larger scale. I...
