As i predicted, the game was a tougher game than the weekend but not in the manner I thought, thought it may be more of a battle but Rochdale actually seemed a better football team then recent opponents. But you could definitely telll they didnt have a game on the weekend, definitely the fresher...
I'm actually worried about tonights game. The pitch is an absolute shocker and in the conditions are awful, it's got a chance of being a real grind, and we didn't fair too well in that type of game against Shrewsbury. Granted, Shrews are at the other end of the table, but against teams down the...
Yup, my two sentences on the victory are a huge indication of my joy on beating the mighty Oxford and your paragraph on us only being functional, it being our big win, "Charlton are better!1!!!1!", Rovers are just direct, we'll finish around eachother anyway etc etc don't make you sound at all...
I definitely don’t think there was a more valuable player at least. He scored the most goals in the league in the calendar year and he plays right wing
I’d bet that not all of that money will be used to finance a replacement, and there’s a few of us who do seriously question Wael already...
Curly, I’m aware you’re new here, but this is a place that all of our fans should be allowed to share their views no matter their warped idologies or idiotic postings. I know it’s difficult, but you need to let some of the “fragile” types feel like they have a safe space. I trust you’ll see the...
Solid if not spectacular, was the type of win we needed to get out of the rut.
We really negated a poor MK Dons side to no chances of note. Bare in mind our terrible defensive record as of late, I’m not sure what I was more surprised about, Nichols finally getting his goal or us keeping a clean...
Two bites on here from you to a comment that was barely fishing, I expect better “babber”, you’re losing your touch.
As for the game, I thought we were the better team in the first and Oxford were the better team in the second. Fair play to Oxford, an excellent away performance, sucked up...
I was thinking about this and i'd feel more confident we'd beat Oxford if Appleton was still in charge, this one has an air of mystery about it so is a dilemma for me. We have to draw at some point this season and I wouldn't be shocked to see this be the case this time around.
Personally, if...
In regards to Nichols, I’ve given him a lot of backing because he’s
1) not had the rub of the green - hit the bar, post and kept off the line in recent weeks
2) because he’s been shoved out on the left more often than not
3) his general all round game has been pretty good, worked very hard...
I’m legit more surprised we kept a clean sheet more than scoring 6 goals.
6 goals with a missed penno and keeper possibly being Northampton’s best player.
Against Bradford, we had our top two CB’s on internationals, played our 3rd choice and 5th choice Cb’s and lost 3-1.
Today, we’re playing our 3rd and 6th choice CB’s, one being his professional debut.
This could get messy
I think we've not gotten anywhere near to the standards we've can get to so far this season. That being said, it's quite encouraging that we're just four points from playoffs despite our inconsistency.
Today should have been 3 or 4 really, two disallowed goals, some good saves and the woodwork...
I was genuinely going to come on here and predict a heavy defeat and atleast one post on here from PishInPratoria. But i was too late. Just going to head to the bookies to lump on now, because i'm either a mastermind or both predictions were painfully bloody obvious to see coming. :2thumb:
