Exciting times... pre season is over, the real deal about to start this weekend! How did everyone's meaningless summer fixtures go? K's have done a fantastic job of confusing the hell out of their fans (all 10 of us) with some fantastic summer signings but some interesting pre season results...

To be honest I think the Isthmian & NPL at step 3 should operate as normal & the two divisions operated by the Southern should have to play off to provide the final non-automatic spot. Likewise at step 4 with the Isthmian for the extra division there.

& then a grand final winner takes all challenge match best of 5 series against the FA Trophy winners with multiball in the 5th game if the series is tied at this point.

Heard through the grapevine that the step 3 playoffs are a bastardisation involving random inter-divisional games. Anyone else heard that? Not seen it on an official source though.
