Credit where credit is due. I have been the first to rubbish Taylor but on Saturday he was, in my view, man of the match. Hope he keeps in that position - he's no front man!
I think it is very difficult to say until we can see how the team shapes up. So far we have only lost players and no one has come in. Keeping Roofe, or if he goes, spending the money for him wisely will be very important. Given his track record with us I am content that the manager knows what...
We had him at Oxford for a long time. He was, in my view, better than either of the keepers we now have. Mind you, he sat on Northampton bench for a season. He is a great shot stopper, commanding in his area, brilliant on penalty saves. His problem is that he cannot kick to save his life...
May I point out that my prediction was based on an average of everyone else who had predicted at that point back in July/ August or whenever it was. So finishing 9th is a pretty good result for everyone!

So pleased for Wimbledon but as I live in Bedford - only 15 miles or so from Milton Keynes - I hope that the riots at the away match don't spread too far!!!
Well, we have got Leicester at home! God knows how we managed that but looking forward to it especially as they say Leicester will play a good team...unlike the times we used to get Manchester United and play their Under 12's....and lose!
So on a more serious note I know little or nothing about League 1. What is the difference in quality between it and League 2? Are the refs and particularly the linesmen any better???
Oxford doing their usual and throwing it away. At least we are guaranteed the play-offs although on present form I can't see us even making it through to the final, let alone winning at Wembley!
Getting into the playoffs might mean promotion to League 1. The question is which of the contenders is most likely to be able to survive the promotion to a higher league? I have always thought it is better to watch your team do well in a lower division than get hammered every week and then end...
What can you do when your goalkeeper gifts the opposition two goals? It is such a shame we let Ryan Clarke go. He was (and I am sure is) so much better than Slocombe.
