The ref watches from one of the Wombles on here are quality

Ah bloody hell, of course the ref watches will be joining us! Even better that they came up!

Shocking away end, can hardly see half the pitch, but by all means go to chalk it off your list.

You will soon moan about the terrace and ploughed pitch.

Fair play to them though, its a great achievement, and we never lost to them so 6 points next season banked ;)

Kinda why I want them to move ASAP, Kingsmeadow isn't as easy to get to as Plough Lane would be. Tick off the list is my aim next year though.

So happy for them, and even more happy that in over 10 years Pete Winkleman's franchise project has got nowhere whilst Wimbledon have shown how to climb the pyramid.

One of the football leagues biggest disgraces is finally being partly put right

Thanks for the welcomes lads. Always dreamed, but never realistically thought we would get this far in such a short space of time. Next step is to secure New Plough Lane!

So how is it going to work for us going to your place next season? I'm sure police are going to be heavily involved and big restrictions put in place?

I don't think your ground is the easiest to get in or out from either? This could be fun.

I'd be amazed if Sky don't get their hands on it either to make it more difficult being the first meeting at Wimbledon (I think).

So pleased for Wimbledon but as I live in Bedford - only 15 miles or so from Milton Keynes - I hope that the riots at the away match don't spread too far!!!

Maybe they should move it to Milton Keynes.

Congrats to Wimbledon, deserved it yesterday. Out of interest, will AFCW fans be travelling to the franchise when they play away? Or is it boycotted out of principle? I don't imagine many would like to contribute anything towards the MK finances?

Fans love to talk up a bit of aggro on the internet. I'm sure it'll be fine next season.

Really hoping Wimbledon can finish above the Franchise next season or at least beat them in one of the league games, that would be an amazing story. I know they've beaten them in the JPT but it's not really the same.

Remarkably, they've had a fair few meetings already, in the League Cup and FA Cup as well. Perhaps it's been written in the stars that they should meet in the league sooner rather than later!

They brought 3000 in our first meeting, as expected it dropped less and less every time. Losses it's spark a little. Played 3 Won 2 lost 1

Oh, and another interesting fact...

With Wednesday failing to get promotion they're now just ONE division below the team they were relegated from the Premiership with 16 years ago.

On a train back from our 4-0 victory at Leyton in February I sat opposite a couple of Wombles who had just witnessed their 4-1 home victory over Lootun. I have never seen and talked to anyone so depressingly ale'd up after a 4-1 victory; "we are too near the play-offs" "we don't want to go up this season" "going up this season will ruin us" "we haven't the squad or the infrastructure to sustain us if we go up"...
Well you two; you were, you did, hopefully it doesn't and not long until the new ground.
You wished us good luck in our nailed on promotion; by return Good Luck back to you in League One for the 2016/17 season...

I'll never set foot in that ground and a considerable number of my friends feel the same way. Each to their own though, many will go to support the team.

Hello League 1, BTW.

Thanks for the welcome. Will enjoy re-visiting old grounds and seeing some new ones next season.

Why oh why did I decide not to take today off work..
