Hmm, tricky game this, for both sides.

Rochdale have not had a great season. Few grumblings around the club between fans and management, likely bottom half finish. Still, they have some work to do to avoid getting dragged into the relegation battle. 8 points away from 50 and a nice gap to the bottom 4, need to finish strong. Grant Holt should give them the extra firepower they need to get over the line.

As for Sheff U, good luck calling one of their games. They lose the games they should win and win the games they should lose. Utterly bizarre team, they seem to range from relegation candidates to promotion candidates on a weekly basis.

Can see this one being quite an open one. Wouldn't be surprised to see a 2-2/3-2 thriller in either direction.

Both sides are consistently inconsistent. History suggests a Blades win, but we have finally managed to beat Burton this season to clear one hoodoo. And Sheff U aren't setting the world on fire this season.

Optimist that I am, I'll go for 2 - 1 to Dale.

I've praised United fans over the years for not being like some of their knuckle dragging neighbours when we have beaten them but some of your fans behaviour today was embarrassing.

If you can't restraint yourself when a 13 stone bloke scores against your team you really should not be allowed in public without a helmet and cable ties around your wrists.

I'm a long time reader on here but never post.
Fantastic result. Our first ever points against the Blades. First half they were well on top an and they continued in the same form we would have lost. Our keeper was a deserved MoM for me.

Considering resources SUFC should be light years ahead of Dale. I'm happy with being 3pts towards safety.

Clubs that have fans will fight with Stewards and police because they underperform in league one?
I like football and I get emotional about it on the odd occasion but I'm not a **** and I don't start a fight with the police when my team lose or when a clearly unfit player scores against my team. You South Yorks folks might be different. Personally I have better uses of my energy.
