There wasn't a great deal to split both sides on Boxing Day, other than the goals, Halifax looked good but seriously dropped off in the second half, we're in the middle of a decent little run of wins, had a massive slice of luck in the Notts game whilst also looking solid at the back, the 352/532 setup seems to be working well, should be looking to add another three points tomorrow but after recent run of results I wouldn't be too unhappy with a draw.

Time to get revenge for Boxing Day. The last game I attended was a year ago today when we beat Torquay 2-0 at their place having played with 10 men for 80 minutes. I was as sick as a dog with a terrible cold but still went to the game so all of this is probably my fault.

Not too confident for this one. Sounds like we are down to bare numbers. I’d take a point right now

Finally managed to put in a domineering 45 minutes of football against Wrexham t'other day, so I'm confident we'll be able to take the points against Alty. Rooney back available for selection I think, even so he may have to make do with a place on the bench given how well Croasdale played last Monday. Got to start picking up wins before this new Cockneyvirus forces us into PPG

Certainly wont be any like boxing day score. We have a few missing now with Wright out for a few weeks and Walters out as well. So just Umerah available up front Kozela back from a loan so may be on the bench. Still badly missing Wynter at right back he has been out longer than expected. Centre halfs playing there at the moment. I think a 2 -2 draw looks a good bet

I think we’ll certainly put up more of a fight this time around. If we go with the same team that beat aldershot then we will actually have some legs in midfield and a right back that won’t give Ben Whitfield all the time in the world to do whatever he likes. Wilkinson being back from suspension makes a huge difference to us at the back.

We need an instant impact tomorrow with Flowers at the helm. However, due to the outbreak of Coronavirus in our squad in the past fortnight I’m not sure how much time he’s been able to spend with the entire squad.

Apparently were so scared shitless of HAHAHAHartlepool, we've called the game off.

At least that's what their troop of French spies are spinning on Twatter. :fl:

They say that a lot. We faked covid tests to call ours off with them

Some of the comments I’ve seen on Facebook and Twitter from Pools fans have been laughable. Both teams in form so no reason why we’d want the game off. Seen some pictures and the pitch definitely looks frozen. Doesn’t even look debatable.

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
Shots at Woking. Certain to be extra feisty after our 3-0 win last week.Usually a nailed-on win for Shots, not so sure today.
Could be an interesting debut for bad-boy Ricky Miller.
Certainly won’t be dull, might fork out £12 (!!!) and open a few beers.Hope it’s 3-3 , for football’s sake. But predict 3-1 Woking, unhappy New Year.

Pitch inspection at 11:30am for our game vs Solihull today..

Not sure what’s happened to our pitch covers if we’re having to have an inspection but would be typical if it’s off given we’ve been looking forward to this game for 2/3 weeks since the squad had to isolate from covid!

Game ON!!

Looking forward to this one, expect we’ll have a bit of rustiness to shake but it’s good to have football back

Lots of snow in SK3 but game should go ahead fine. No word yet on whether we'll have an orange ball

1-0 up at HT.

Certainly deserved, solihull had a couple of chances but we’ve been first to most things throughout.

For some reason we’re playing with a white ball in the snow so can’t see anything that’s happening, only realised the ball was in from the net moving!

Very good first half against Alty, dominated the first 20 minutes or so, only disappointment is the inability to turn various chances into a second goal. Our middle three of Maynard, Rooney and Croasdale look excellent together, and MSH as been almost unplayable down the right flank.

That man Rooney doubles our lead, deftly chips it into the top corner, our Goals of the Season compilation is going to be mostly him
