Big afternoon at the bottom!

AFCW vs Rochdale
Bristol Rovers vs Swindon
Northampton vs Burton

At the top, Sunderland vs Doncaster is a biggie.

Assuming the snow melts and it doesn't waterlog the pitch, we're at home to Accrington. Briductt went off injured in midweek against Hull but I think that's the only new injury worry (Archibald and Morton being the others already injured).

Lots of work for Darren to do since Tuesday he got the tactics completely wrong, picked the wrong players for the game too. Do we have bounce back ability against another team we have never beaten away from home.

I think the highest temperatures get in these parts is 1 degrees before Saturday and doesn’t get above 0 at all on Saturday. so I’d say our game vs Pompey is very much in doubt.

Love a game being called off. It properly brings out the numpties on Twitter who clearly have so little going on in their life that a postponed football match that they were never going to gets them ANGRY. Great entertainment as always.

We've postponed our game v Wigan for 24 hours until Sunday, when the weather is due to warm up quite a bit. Sensible decision, although we do have the Papa Johns semi final on Tuesday evening, but that will probably be a much changed side anyway.

I expect our game against Fleetwood to be on. We have hovered at just above 0 degrees all week, and it is above that today and expected to be even more tomorrow. The issue is the wind, which is due to drop down by midday tomorrow.

To be fair, lots of people have nothing else in their lives at the moment and football is welcome relief from everything else that is going on.

What I'm finding strange is that so many games already postponed after pitch inspections, I don't seem to remember postponements happening this early when fans were allowed to attend.

Our game should be on, snow has cleared. Think it's supposed to drop to around -4 overnight but we should be ok for a 3pm KO. Hope I've not put the mockers on it.

it’s all a bit...

There’s no incentive for clubs to delay and try and thaw a pitch despite the forecast not reaching above 1 when there are no fans generating income and a Saturday match is no different to a Tuesday match in income these days. I do think a few have missed a trick in not just pushing the game to Sunday though.

Because of the big stand shadow at Crewe, as soon as you have sustained cold weather then our pitch becomes unplayable. The sun can’t get to about 1/3 of the pitch, and we don’t have any heat lamps or anything like that. Only a cover, which only works to -3. And it’s been well below that this week.

Is that right Swindon fans -- You have dropped Payne, Pittman and an other because they arrived late at a meeting ?

Thats the rumour. Bit hypocritical bearing in mind Sheridan doesn't do his post match interviews if we lose. Surely he should be setting a good example, the useless divot.

Also, the rumour mill reckons our loan from Brentford, Thompson, wants to get the hell out of Dodge due to Sheridan.

Anyone know a hitman?

Away to a resurgent Shrewsbury today.

Discussions regarding Lamberts 5 year contract have been rife again recently; at the time is was signed it was widely accepted that it had various clauses including failure to make the playoffs. Obviously this clause, assuming it exists, couldn't be activate last season considering the season was curtailed.

It may explain why Lambert's position remains secure at present.

Our game if off due to a frozen pitch but re-arranged for 6pm tomorrow.

We're already playing Wednesday in the Pizza Cup so it doesn't hinder us too much, but presumably Accrington will want to rearrange their Doncaster game on Tuesday.

We'll find out this pm if last Tuesday's result was a blip and the forerunner of some descent form. Tbh I am expecting Fleetwood to get something out of the game today, equally Plimuth will be looking for some 'revenge' after their early season hammering at Highbury

Madden and Vassell will go into the game full of confidence, Batty and Donacien are terrific loan signings, Sam Finley is fit again, the only real absentee is Wes Burns who is badly missed but hopefully will be back in the next week.

So I am going for a draw 1-1 which will continue a 2 game unbeaten run under our new manager -little steps hopefully leading bigger ones.....

Is there anyone more despicable in the professional game than Steve Evans?

Trying to get the game off and then you realise why when you see Graham is out.

We are feeling fairly confident. It is pretty blowy down here which never helps. Our weak links are Fornah in CDM and Moore as right wing back, as he forgets the back bit of the job. Ennis has pretty electric pace up front and Jephcott has scored 16 times from 26 shots on goal, which is a pretty ridiculous rate.

Game called off at 2.15pm... how fucking tinpot.

If the pitch is frozen in the morning and it's forecast to still be below 0C at 3pm it's clearly not going to get any better.

Just saw the interview with our Chief Executive with regards to todays game postponement. Pitch was deemed unplayable at 11am by referee when all other personnel said it was definetly playable. Rovers put heaters on it tried to get ref back. This was refused. Rovers then asked EFL for match to be played tomorrow. But Swindon stated they could'nt make the game tomorrow ?? What is that all about ?? Disgusting by ref and very poor from Swindon. Been reported to the EFL now. Rovers should be awarder 3 points based on them wankers not wanting to play tomorrow.

Interview with our CEO says ref arrived at 11:45 and said the pitch was playable. A couple of areas on the touchline apparently got worse after the initial inspection before the game was eventually called off. Pitch has been covered since Tuesday night.

EFL agreed for game to be rearranged for any time tomorrow. Shrewsbury suggested 12pm or 1pm or whenever to suit. Ipswich allegedly had issues with hotel and food.

God knows why we couldn't play tomorrow, its hardly very far to go.

I suspect we see it as a chance to get your games in hand piling up.

Was so obvious we’d then lose.

Also the fact we’re shit plays a part.

Burton also terrible though, cant see them staying up, needed to give them a free kick from 5 yards out for them to even have an attack. Same old Hasselbaink I guess.

Indeed, there is some proper pathetic 'bantz' happening on twitter at the moment between us and Bristol Rovers.

Yes, but we have momentum.
2 clean sheets and 9 points from 12 under hasselbank.
As poor as we are, we have now got some confidence. Table is very tight...4 from 7 will go.

Good win away at Hull for us, looking up now instead of down, play offs may be a shout, but after our start of the season, mid-table mediocrity will do nicely. No idea why McCann only made 1 sub with his team 1 down and some of his players blowing out their arse, but thanks.
