Lost 2-1 with the winner coming in injury time. Wasn't there but according to all available sources we had plenty of chances but couldn't score. Nick Bailey is our top scorer with 3, all penalties. He's also the only Sutton player with multiple goals to his name this season

Cooper got set to the stands for something late on, which made me laugh as it's only ten foot behind the dug-out.

Lindsey wasn't it? Bit of a spat with their no. 8 (Drury?), thought he was play acting or something.

Fair result in the end, Eastleigh look a well organised unit, Johnson and Cresswell looked good. We didn't really get going, but will take a point.

Ah right, my crap eyesight. Just saw the kerfuffle on the touchline and a blue top marching upwards.

Marcus seemed still a bit off the pace so maybe an odd time to throw him on with the game still up for grabs, much as I'm glad to see him back.

Good little comfortable win for us, needed it.

Wasn’t the best game in truth and for 20 minutes or so in the first half Guiseley were passing through us far too easily. They ran out of steam in the second half and fell to pieces a bit, ended up finishing with nine men after Hatfield was sent off and Porritt limped off injured after they’d used all of their subs. We had a fair few out injured so just important to get the points. Richards got the opener after Akintunde had nicely set him up on his first start and Shaw narrowly tucked away a pen after Hunt was softly brought down.

Guiseley looked quite good for a bit but we had quite a lot of chances and could have scored more. Maxted was excellent between the sticks for them, made some really good saves.

We were, in classic Lincoln side, awful in front of a big home crowd (4049)

The new lad, Champion, was dreadful. Kept getting caught under the ball, was weak in the tackle and didn't close down properly. It meant that Woodyard was, for the most part, playing as both centre midfielders while Champion ran around like a lost puppy. I'm sure he'll come good at some point but Power should've been subbed on. Or anyone else. Even Jimmy Walker would've had more of an impact.

Credit to Solihull, they worked hard and had some decent players. They'll be fine.

Dag & Red are winning this league this season, anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool.

Ssssssshhhhhhh. We don't want to be noticed. Let the others argue.

P.S) I wouldn't swap our front 4 for any others in the league, for me, promotion is dependent on luck with injuries and getting another defender or two in.

No excuses from me, none whatsoever, on the basis we were dreadful.

Think Danny and Nicky need to hold their hands up and say they got it very wrong re Champion, no need to change anything after Saturday in my opinion.

Whatever, we'll just have to make Paul Cox cry instead.

That was everything we normally aren't. Even more frustrating when over 4k turn up.

It was slow build-up play, lack of pressing, lack of pace, lack of energy, lack of width, lack of ideas. We just resorted to hopeful punts in the end. The game was summed up with the third touch of the game when Habergham had the ball played back to him, he controlled it and played a terrible forward ball that got cut out. It looked destined for a 0-0 from quite early on.

Missed Wood in midfield because Champion couldn't get around the pitch and left Woodyard doing the job of two. I was surprised he started and saw the game out given that he's hardly played this season. I'm hoping he'll improve because he's no better than what we have on that showing. Hawkridge doesn't quite have the pace to be a decent winger and is better centrally and we made it easier for the Solihull wall by playing Marriott who always drops deep and therefore had no threat in behind.

Fair play to Solihull, they dug in, time-wasted all game and got what they came for without us having any answers. Must have had 3 bookings for time-wasting.

That said, Arnold's got to score at the back post and we had 2 or 3 half chances but nothing of any note.

The red card seemed to happen a good 10 seconds after the ball had gone. There was another passage of play that had ended in a FK. It was in front of the linesman, who gave it, but he didn't flag at the time so he's done himself no favours there.

Throughly deserved win. Sucker punch to go behind after dominating the first 25 minutes. Got going straight from the off in the second half, soon equalised (DSY) and then went ahead (DSY). Had more chances. Then Dennon Lewis capped it off with a great goal. We might be getting good. Let's see quite how bad Wrexham are on Saturday.

Torquay - Not spectacular. Should do enough to stay up. Good travelling support, must have been at least 200 (spread out). Says quite a lot that Brett Williams can't get in that side.

We just cannot play well away, at home we're very good, but away we make teams look like world-beaters. Sounded like Woking played us off the park tonight.

Pretty much don't need to post much other than what the other Imps said. I was right though that I went tonight concerned, just had a feeling we would struggle. Not going to criticise Solihull for time wasting because with a man advantage and the players we have available we should have been able to break them down. We could even have lost the game.

Hope the gate won't get put off and return again on Saturday, it's got to be a hell of a lot better than that though, jeez.

Thought we played really well, as previously said unlucky to be 1-0 down at the break, but came out guns blazing and put away our chances

I think you'll find Lincoln won the league after beating North Ferriby at home.

I didn't check the score, but the good AND clever Danny Cowley must have seen his side romp past 10-man Solihull this evening.

Will also add that Solihull, on that showing will cause other teams enough problems. They played well and defended for their lives whilst also causing us enough concerns, even with 10 men.

Again, I don't think any Lincoln fan has ever posted anything of the sort Sparrow?

Previous incarnations of Lincoln might have shat themselves in this position, potential big crowd and expectations, how funny is that. Somehow I think Danny Cowley is a little bit too good and clever for that.

Good AND clever!

And with that I retire from the world of being bullish, didn't think I could get it worse than thinking we could take a draw against FGR, but turns out I could. Sure Bromley were better than I expected, but I reckon even a team made up of members of this forum could have got something from us tonight.

It seems to be a season that once you hit the top of the league you stop winning, daggers, us , fgr now imps.... May be one of those years where a team that has not been top at all after the previous 45 games win their last and sneek the title .

He is alluding to one of my posts pre-match, which fair play, they got it wrong this evening.

What is however boring is him and his irrelevance of a boyfriend nitpicking when they have nothing better to do than enjoy a relegation battle and mid-table mediocrity. If they want to do that kind of thing, I'm fairly certain Grindr is still readily available.

I was also more talking about winning the league after NFU, which I don't think any Lincoln fan said was likely? (Unless crazy again said something else I didn't read!)

That he has fabricated. I have maintained all the way through my bullishness that a play-off place is acceptable.
