We haven't really looked like pasting anyone lately really, even the Braintree 3-0 recent home game was tight until the second half. We seem to be creating chances but not really taking enough of them. Hopefully recent signing Robinson will settle now after his brace tonight.

We haven't really looked like pasting anyone lately really, even the Braintree 3-0 recent home game was tight until the second half. We seem to be creating chances but not really taking enough of them. Hopefully recent signing Robinson will settle now after his brace tonight.

I've just been inspired to watch the highlights of the 3-3 draw at Altrincham in February this year. Bit of a mad game - Jake Moult giving away not one but two penalties, Rhead missing one of them, Scott Leather getting schooled by Rhead and someone else, Ryan Crowther having one of his rare good games, Jonny Margetts and Josh Ginelly starting for Altrincham, plus Farman's rush of blood to the head for the final equaliser. I'd say "good times", but they weren't really. Much better than they are now however.

Thing is, we are a fair bit different to that team you saw last season, and better all over the park than we were. Not taking anything for granted, it will be a tough game. I know for sure the Cowleys won't be taking Alty lightly, they always have a lot of respect for opposing teams and they do a lot of homework on sides we play.
