9 draws out of 11?! What's going on there haha

Trying hard not to lose, not doing enough to win unfortunately! The wins will come, we just need to have a change in tactics and stick with a settled XI. Can't remember the last time we named an unchanged side.

They sound about as friendly as Chester have been on all of the occasions I've been there.
Let’s be fair here, your moron element have often come and caused problems down here, I’ve seen Chester pubs trashed by them for myself.

I walked out of the away end today looking at my phone and needlessly got targeted.

If we're not champions come May, which will come as a great surprise to everyone in the league, I'd like to think Dagenham will be.

They're the best side we've faced by a mile. Going forward they were better than most that we played in L2 last season. They were a bit hoofy and rattled in the second half though, once they realised they'd pissed away 3/4 very good chances to score. They'll be right up there in May (or is it April in this division?).

I'd rather a proper BELT went up but they look the best footballing side and John Still is a good lad so fair dos.

Indeed, there's nothing like being ambushed by 25 Stone Island clad inbreds on a bleak North Wales industrial estate, who then have the temerity to run away if you look at them. Every club has them, Dover have always been alright when I've been there, but no doubt we'll find them soon enough.

Can't argue with someone willing to make things up to support his argument. :ds:

Halifax are poor on that showing. We played well enough to to dismiss them without breaking sweat. Few twats amongst those following too, rightly thrown out.

If we had a decent defence we would walk this league but we have a poor one.
The fact that the only sides able to beat us so far are currently 1st, 2nd & 3rd would suggest we are rather better than a "poor" team, so that's quite a silly assessment on your part, regardless that we were poor today. Pro Tip- a more sensible assessment would have been to start with "Halifax were poor today".:bdick:

More tears from Sutton. This time from manager Paul Doswell.

Err... it's a fact. When you came down in the cup a few years ago two pubs in Brook St got the treatment.

You carry on your obsession with us though.

The only way we get anything out of next week against Wrexham is if Tollitt is back.

We went for a draw at Ebbsfleet today. No disrespect to Ebbsflett, but i don't think ill ever find that acceptable. Seriously starting to question Mellon now.

Really negative tactics from Mellon down at Ebbsfleet today. It was as if 3 points were at stake for getting a 0-0 draw. Not what the paying public want to see.
I don't understand what Mellon is doing in terms of team selection. If the aim from the outset was to get a point then would have expected more defensive players on the bench. Instead, the usual lack of balance in outfield subs, 3 forwards and an attacking midfielder.

Thing is though, when I saw him at Dover he was really really effective at this level pulling the strings in the middle. Seems a waste to play him there.

It's something I've been banging on for weeks about. I fact about 2 years. He is so good on the ball, fantastic vision and his ability to pick a clinical pass is second to none in our team. Unfortunately, 4 or 5 managers have played him out of position.
Can't complain too much at the minute when we keep winning though. He's done very well at left back.

Fantastic win for us. Having listened to Adam Virgo pipe off orient for the full 90 minutes his face was an absolute picture at full time. What a bell

Pleasantly surprised with the catering prices and quality for a londidium club.

Whilst the catering is all good value, the entry winds me up no end. Force us into the £21 quid section so they can "segregate" and don't even bother with it at all anyway.

Absolute robbery.

Saturday was an example of progressive non-league clubs being REFFED OUT in favour of stagnant clubs

Had a reasonably good day out in Ebbsfleet yesterday. Took less than 2 hours 20 minutes to get down there from Warrington on the incredably fast Pendolino and Javelin trains. Decent pre match pubs in the Rose and the George & Dragon with friendly locals. Greasy spoon cafe right outside the stadium serving all day breakfasts too. Impressive stadium for non league, but whilst the new stand looks really good from the outside its very underwhelming once inside.
Apologies to the Ebbsfleet fans for Tranmere's negative performance, expect more from a team with Tranmere's budget.

If we're not champions come May, which will come as a great surprise to everyone in the league, I'd like to think Dagenham will be. They played us off the park. Tiki-taka with the talent to do it, very fast and intense in the first half, not even stopping to ponder set pieces. With us being tired and under-trained, the goals they created were pretty much unstoppable. The low-tempo D&R second half that we've heard about suited us better, but the damage was done. Were we on top of our game, our part-time status and the reasons our players are part-time would've given us great difficulty anyway.

Nice to see us score a good goal from a set piece again, which preserved our dignity and was slightly more gratifying than seeing a certain lifelong dickhead get thrown out of the ground along with a few of his jolly old chums, having broken into the home end twice, with presumably no-one getting hurt after all the bother. Shame only 1,000 are turning up for what's a very good standard of football at this level, and perhaps a critical season for the Daggers?

I hope to god that you aren't aiming the dickhead comment at me. We've had these discussions before

Fairly sure that one day, after his dad passes away peacefully in his sleep, Virgo's mum is going to sit him down and tell him that his real father is Steve Claridge.

Honestly just stop, you're just letting yourself down.

You're taking me seriously???? Hilarious, well perhaps not hilarious if you're the kind of person taking things literally and seriously, perhaps just amusing. I don't want to confuse you

I did get kicked out but for standing up
Well you should really get on to reporting D&R. I stood up twice, once to go for a piss and second for a drink but then sat back down in my seat. It seems unfair that they have singled you out especially if they haven't given you warning. Surely the stewards have a duty to offer you at least one verbal warning that you need to be seated whilst the game was going on.

I think you'll find I wasn't the only one either. There were 11 people kicked out yesterday for nothing

That's shocking. Wonder what i did wrong to be kept in.

Although of those that got kicked out i know one was for foul and abusive language towards stewards. And one for continued aggro towards stewards even after they had allowed him to stay after crossing the seats to try and get in to the home fans section. So maybe only 9 fans were kicked out for nothing?
