Weirdly not feeling depressed about this fixture, Bradford clearly a decent team, but we've gone there and upset the applecart last season when we couldn't buy a win, don't see why we can't do it again, Umerah being back and scoring last week is big for us, playing a lot better under Askey but still show signs of fuckuppery in the ranks.

Is the Broadway the best/easiest place to park for those got lumbered with being the designated driver?

With Carlisle playing Stevenage this is a cracking chance for us to get back into the top 3 by 5pm. Have to back up Tuesday by beating Crewe.

I do hope you’re not pinning your hopes on the spirited performance from last season - we’re absolutely night and day in comparison to where we are now. [famous last words]

Put simply, anything other than three points here just isn’t good enough. We still have a chance at autos but lose here, it’s curtains.

There’s a few knocks around the squad, but the starting XI should be as consistent as it has been recently.

GK: Harry Lewis

RB: Brad Halliday
CB: Matt Platt
CB: Sam Stubbs
LB: Liam Ridehalgh

CM: Ritchie Smallwood
CM: Adam Clayton
CM: Alex Gilliead

AM: Jamie Walker

ST: Andy Cook
ST: Dara Costelloe

Have to fancy Cook to score again here, given he’s successfully notched 7 in his last 9 games.

I’d love a complete performance, ticki-tacki football, plenty of goals and a clean sheet, but any win will do.

3-1 City

Agree with Firthy. Anything other than three points and I'll be really disappointed. 2-0 City.

Here don't get me wrong I don't think we're gonna outplay you or anything, you tore us a fresh one at ours so we'll have to be 100% on it to get anything out of this, after suffering through two kick it and hope managers we finally play some decent footy and actually pass the fucker.

Honestly be very happy with a point and the other whipping boys whipped.

Must win game but I certainly hope that won't be the starting XI again. That set up is fine for away games but not at home where we simply have to create and dominate more than we have been.

That midfield will give you nothing going forwards and Costelloe may as well not even play given how useless he is. Leaves a lot on Walker to create who then becomes easier to mark out of the game. Chapman and Banks to start hopefully.

Given how riddled we are with injuries anything other than a stockport win would be miraculous.

Very broken record i appreciate, just where we’re at currently.”

Crewe been drawing a lot of games recently but hoping that we have enough to eek out another tight win. We dont tend to score more than 1 (only done it twice this calendar year) so im going to go with a 1-0 win.

Only 10 games left does not matter how it happens, lets just get the 3 points and start to link together a run. Hopefully we have had our wobble a few weeks back and now we can find some consistency. Hoping to have one or two more bodies back from the 10 out Tuesday.

With Stevenage and Carlisle playing each other, ourselves and Northampton have to make the most of it by winning the games at home to Colchester and Crewe - Both are winnable.

The top 6 are starting to pull away at bit now all the games in hand have been caught up with.

Didn't play last week, no idea how we will react to having a week off, have to hope we react the same way we did last time it happened. Last weeks break was an extra week to get a few players back ready for the run in at least.

The only things stopping us now will be a lack of goals from strikers combined with complacent over playing, we still have one or two more losses in us this season.

Hopefully Wellens will change the team a bit from the last 2 games which we've drawn. Get Darren Pratley back in and George Moncur too.

Stevenage at home.

Well after successfully climbing Kilimanjaro (Swindon) last week, we up the stakes by attempting K2. Another in our long line of almost impossible summits we have to tackle over the coming weeks. Lhotse on Tuesday, then a trip to Everest on 1st April.

I still don’t think we’ll finish top 7, purely because of the fixtures we have, a lot of games against teams this season who we simply haven’t been able to take any points from. In our games so far against the current top 5 Orient, Stevenage, Northampton and Stockport, we’ve lost every single game against these teams. That needs to change if we are to have any chance of staying in the top 7, as I can’t see us being faultless in all of the other games.

Purely on the basis that we’ve lost every game we’ve played against the top 5 teams, I just can’t see beyond a Stevenage win.

Carlisle United 0-1 Stevenage

Hope I’m wrong because a win for us would be a huge confidence boost and would give us belief that we can do what we so far haven’t been able to.

What are you like against set pieces? Because we haven't scored from open play in the last seventeen years

We're also as different as night & day from that game, unfortunately for the worse.
We were just starting to click under DC then & although we've improved in the last few weeks, the team is still nowhere near as good as that one.
I'll be there though,great home & away support,great stadium & hoping for 3 points.

Haha the best thing about the Carlislengame so far is Simpson pleading with the fanbase to leave Evans alone as then poor little thing got very upset about our paddock in the fixture last season.

Poor Evans, I am sure nothing will be said.

Rovers home to Newport. Tom Davies hopefully back in defence, but no bolstering our lacklustre attack. Most likely outcome a draw, which would at least boost our mid-table cup aspirations

Broke 1,000 today, that's with us 3rd bottom and 2 wins in about 15, imagine a Pools team going well in the League man, shame it's a one o'clock kick off like, few divvies on both sides must've been the reason.

he's probably still bitter about towelgate and that was about four seasons ago when he was managing Mansfield.

See he's accused us of spending our way up the table  what an absolute melt.

Looking at the fixtures I think we’re the most nailed on 0-0 in the land, but I’d take a point right now and be done with the fixture if I’m honest

Massive banana skin for us at home to Crawley. We've got to stop the rot.

I'm part of the sponsorship group tomorrow and it would be nice to get a win.

Casey is Dannie Bulman coaching with you lot? He's being presented on the pitch before kick-off.

Would like to see Kristian Dennis back in the starting line up for this. He seems to score in streaks and he's due one.
I wouldn’t.

Remember what happened last time we broke up the Garner/Patrick partnership to bring Dennis back in?

Yeah, we went 3 games without scoring a goal, barely even getting a shot on target in those games. Then we drop Dennis, revert back to Garner/Patrick and 4 wins later here we are.

I’d stick with the same front 2, but if we were to freshen it up I’d look at bringing Gordon or Edmondson in for Patrick. I wouldn’t be dropping Garner for this one.

The good thing for you is he’s usually in sides that move out of the league, just not in the direction you’re possibly going in
