Well the centre-midfield vote proved to be a very close thing although Luke Young of Torquay was the clear winner with 11 votes Paul Turnbull of Macclesfield and Luisma Villa of Barnet both tied for 2nd place with 5 votes each. I will therefore pass a deciding vote and will go for Turnbull who I thought did very well against us in the two games.

The team so far then is -

GK - RHYS TAYLOR (Macclesfield)
LB - LEE BROWN (Bristol Rovers)
CB - MANNY SMITH (Wrexham)
CB - TOM PARKES (Bristol Rovers)
RB - ANDY YIADOM (Barnet)
LM - JAI REASON (Eastleigh)
CM - LUKE YOUNG (Torquay)
CM - PAUL TURNBULL (Macclesfield)

I am heading down to Eastleigh tomorrow so the vote for Right Winger and Forwards will both remain open until 3pm on the 1st May. I will make a separate thread for Forwards.

Nominations for Right Winger please (1 nomination)

Voting closed 1st May 3pm

Bristol Rovers Adam Dawson gets my vote.
Only time I've seen Gregor Robertson tied in knots for the whole game.

How has Gregor done for you? He was a solid defender during his time with us, never any good going forward but very solid.

That just about sums him up to be honest. Doesn't give us the attacking threat that Aswad Thomas did but is 10 times the defender that Thomas was.

He'll be a big loss in the play-offs although he's hoping to be fit for the final, if we get there.

Pretty much what Les said, seemed to be getting better with each game then got injured.

Daniel Bradley (Alfreton)

Played superbly at our place and at theirs.

LDV at Bristol, gave poor Johnson such a torrid time that he had to come off after 20min
