Opening post edited with entrants so far. Looks like there's going to be quite a few teams so there will probably be a couple of cut off points where the team in last place drop out (as with the gameshow marathon). Mainly because I feel the closer to the end it gets, those at the bottom may lose interest and it could impact the people competing...plus everyone likes a bit of ruthlessness, right?

Will try and set a deadline fairly soon but I'm just keeping an eye on the top TV shows and Hunger Games as to allow them and their hosts/players the greatest of respects.

Have got at least five of the forum games semi-planned so we're in reasonably good shape when the thing starts. Teams will be drawn out at random when we know how many teams with how many players in each.

Was considering not playing this because I wanted a break from forum games, but, fuck it, I'm in.

Sod it I'm cracking on with this. Longer the break, the more chance people who signed up won't end up playing etc and I've no idea when the Hunger Games will finish so apologies if I'm stepping on toes but could go with getting cracking. Potentially will be starting a job soon enough as well so rather get things sorted before life gets more hectic.

Will close sign ups on Sunday 4pm when teams will be drawn out and the first game will take place in midweek with the sporting schedule also posted prior to the start. So you've got a couple of days to join, let me know you're pulling out etc.

To be fair Magic, I have no issue at all with this running alongside the Hunger Games. The Hunger Games only requires one quick PM a day from those taking part, there's no reason that the two games should clash/collide in anyway. So press on with it guilt free without worrying about stepping on toes and what not.

All entrants have been allocated a number and using a random number generator, the teams will be created. The first six numbers will join team one, the next six will be on team 2 etc. Here we go...

With the football being on Tuesday night, we will play the first game on Wednesday evening. Likely to be around 7pm but will confirm. Just a disclaimer that my plans may change throughout this game but I'll try my best to ensure everything runs smoothly but there may be alterations to game times if something does come up for me.

Teams will be aiming to gain an advantage for their trip to the races! That's right! It's St. Leger weekend at Doncaster and Irish Champions Day! A feast of all your equine needs. All will be revealed closer to the time but get under starter's orders, lads!
