Who do you think has been player of the year?

Try to think back to the start of the year and through to the middle, Chelsea won the league. They aren't flying at the moment but what I'm getting at is that they shouldn't be left out here.

If you could post a few suggestions, I'll start a poll over the next day or so.

Then we can crown the 1FF Premier League Player of the Year 2016.

De Gea & Smalling are the only 2 that warrant any mention of having a good year at United

Mahrez, Vardy, Lukaku or Ozil.

I was thinking of the players of season so far. Kane would be up there taking the whole year into account.

I'm thinking Mahrez, it's a shame Payets been injured lately otherwise he'd be up there as well.

I think for me, players who have done well for the whole year, not just one season or another. Kane, Alexis, Ozil. Smalling has had a good year too. Eriksen is worth a mention (but not 1st place)

Willian was part of the team that won the PL last season, and has played well for Chelsea with some magnificent free kicks.

Considering the whole year I'd say Kane.

What made you go for Hart?

De Gea and Butland have been more impressive, I'd say.

Butland has only had since the summer, and yes statistically he's saved alot of shots, some of them very well, but it's over the calander year.

To be honest i coin flipped over hart and de gea, i choose hart as for the calander year United have had a very solid defence and the amount wonder save de gea had to make have reduced as they've got better. City on the other hand look lost when Kompany doesn't play, so this season, along some poorer form from kompany towards the end of last season made me remember hart more.

Don't get me wrong, i'd have de gea over hart any day, but i think that hart has started to get a little bit of the rooney's in that people expect him to be neuer/casilles/buffon combined and when he isn't, he's suddently shit.

i guess i was more Kane first, then ozil, then any of a few could be third as i'm not sure there was a stand out candiate for the whole calander year.

If it was just this season, or just the end of last season it would be a different list.

For all you haters, Mignolet has kept more clean sheets than any other Premier league keeper in 2015.

Mesut Ozil would be my number one, but after that I'm not sure. Harry Kane, Alexis Sanchez, Riyad Mahrez, Romelu Lukaku, Jamie Vardy and Santi Cazorla would all be up there for me as well.

For some reason I think the title implies 2015.
It did say 2016, I edited the title. Don't want to rub Joe's name through the dirt so thought it best to come clean.

Whitechapel voted for Ozil. I, for one, am shocked.
