I don't think we did this last season, did we? In all honesty Whitechapel should be doing it, or doing something at least, given his (alleged) lofty wages as a 1FF's flagship PL mod. I've heard rumours of as much as £75k per week, which is what Liverpool inexplicably pay Skrtel to do a similarly piss poor job.

Poll open 'til erm... let's say Friday evening. If you wish to complain about a certain player not being included in the poll, state your reasons and I'll tell you why you're wrong.

Right backs next. Feel free to nominate some.

There's still nearly a quarter of the season to go so things could change but at the moment De Gea gets my vote.

Was torn between Butland and Lloris, but I think Butland has come on so well this season at Stoke.

Got to be De Gea. Pulls out the top draw saves on a regular basis now and has been superb despite a continuously changing United defence.

I voted for Lloris and was surprised I wasn't the only one. He pulls of some great stops but I must confess that he is not as good as De Gea. Guess I voted for him because I thought everybody would be voting for other keepers. It's quite a hard choice really. Most goalkeepers have negative goals to games ratio which is strange for teams at the top.

For RBs, I'd add unfancied Martin Kelly and Glen Johnson. Thought they had some pretty good seasons up until now.

I went for Lloris too.

De Gea's been his usual self but Lloris has been a vital part of the best back 5 in the league and made a lot of vital saves along the way.

Plus he is handsome.

Lloris has had a really good season and Spurs have the best defensive record in the league, in part thanks to him... he's a good shout. I went with Butland, he's had an amazing season. Last time I checked he'd made the most saves, some of them ridiculously good, had the best save percentage and I can't think of a single error he's made all season. De Gea has been as consistent as ever but has playing behind a negative team without much to do, and I can recall a couple of times he's been beaten at his near post. Hasn't really stood out to me compared to a couple of others. Kinda surprised Cech hasn't got more votes so far, another who's had a very good season.

It's only March...

Get out.

De Gea for me. Haven't seen much football outside of Everton this season but he looks to have been Utd's best player again this season

You know you're shit when your goalkeeper is your player of the season three years in a row. De Gea. Butland is my second choice, Lloris third.

Bellerin has to be the choice for right back, though there is a real dearth of quality at wing back in the Premier League at the moment.

No votes for Big Kasper? I went for Gomes myself. I think he's had a great season and has gone some way to redeeming himself in the Premier League after his error-strewn spell at Spurs. After him, I'd put Butland or Lloris who've both been fantastic this year.
