Some locations have abilities. One such of these is Takeshi's Castle. Takeshi's Castle is hard to conquer, defending teams have +1BR there!

A great rumble awakes the contestants from their slumber. Upon closer inspection it appears that Pokemon Stadium has changed forever. It will now give +100k per week and Dukes of Haddock characters will gain a permanent +1BR when fighting there.

A great rumble awakes the contestants from their slumber. Upon closer inspection it appears that Pokemon Stadium has changed forever. It will now give +100k per week and Dukes of Haddock characters will gain a permanent +1BR when fighting there.

I didn't word this very clearly in my half asleepedness before work. The +100k is only active if DOH own Pokemon Stadium. If they lose it, the ability becomes inactive, but if DOH won it back it would become active again.

RELEASING CHARACTERS

At the moment their is no cap on the size of your squad. This will change after week 5 and each territory will allow you to have 4 characters. So what happens if you go over this? You will have to release a character. Releaseing characters is slightly different this year.

You may choose to release a character at any time. However, you must continue to pay half their wages until they are taking by another team. A team may take any player that has been released for FREE! So be careful with who you release as they may end up fighting against you.

When a character is released they will not benefit any team. The team that released them can resign the player but they will have to pay the outstanding wages for the period that the character was released so no using it to rotate characters or save a bit of money for one week.

These characters are still active in the game however and can be brought into fights by a seeker (where they will represent themselves) or with a similar ability and they can still be attacked by abilities or items should you wish.
