Didn't see it but we have taken it to the last day with a good comeback result. Jack Stevens pulled off 2 worldie saves as well apparently.

Were you one of the people having iFollow problems today?

Fortunately mine was OK. By way of a summary for you, we started really well, scored and were playing some nice stuff. Then they scored two in a couple of minutes, one a poorly defended corner from us and the other looked offside, but their lad took it well. Shrewsbury were then very good at "game management" until half time, denying us the opportunity to build up any rhythm. Second half we were much better and the equaliser was a lovely goal, coming at the end of a long passage of possession. The third was then inevitable with us well on top. Jack's two saves were both in injury time, and the first, in particular, was exceptional.

We are playing some good football and I don't think this play off race is over by a long stretch.

Cheers.

No, had other things to do unfortunately (or fortunately with the iFollow problems). Saw the Sky highlights and will have to see the extended iFollow highlights to see all of that 2nd goal. That 1st save was excellent and the 2nd wasn't too bad either.

My two pence on the penalty
1. Where did he get 5 minutes injury time and then gives it with seconds left.
2. As Luke says if anything Scully was fouled.

Pleased we've made the playoffs, cracking effort, let's use the injustice of today and use to drive us on.

We’re awful. Amazing we’re actually still in the play-off race, we’re such a bad side.

Good comeback win for us at Plough Lane. Surprisingly Paul Downing started and was solid whilst Lee Brown made a welcome return.

It's in our hands now. All we have to do is beat Accrington at home on Sunday and we're in the play-offs. If we don't, I think Oxford will take it.

Still not got over yesterday’s game and ‘that’ decision. How the ref can even think there was a foul (apart from Szmodics fouling our player) and give a penalty is beyond me. Has to be one of the worst refereeing decisions ever. Busby (ref) and Szmodics will be guaranteed a warm reception next time they visit SB, not that that will bother the thick skinned cheats.

Yes they missed on the playoffs due to PPG, no guarantee they'd have won the playoffs.

Apologies to Oxford and Portsmouth for not taking tonight seriously and rotating/resting and being without 7 of our best 11...!

Doesn’t really matter to Portsmouth and Oxford. We’re still third favourites for the final spot.

FT: Charlton 3-1 Imps

That was a stinker and contender for worst game of the season.

Sort of sums up why we didn't get autos - fringe players are just not good enough and none of them staked a claim for a start.

Hope MA goes full strength on Sunday to end the season on a positive. Wouldn't be too dissapointed to get Charlton in the play offs.

Good to get more minutes into Hopper, Grant and Walsh.

I don't see Charlton as a threat to us... more pressure on Portsmouth though.

I will be watching the Oxford game on ifollow and the pompey game on Sky in the garden with family.

No need to apologise. Every team will be resting players pre play-offs, if they have the opportunity. Particularly this slog of a season with two games a week.

It doesn't really change what we need to do on Sunday. Accrington will be tough. Something tells me they won't be on the beach and will want to try and finish as high as possible in the table.

Let's hope so!

Of all the mid table teams to face on the last day of the season, when you need a win, Accrington and in particular John Coleman, are the last I'd want to come up against. They 100% will not lay down. None of us, you, or Charlton have particularly easy games, so I'm looking forward to Sunday's dramas unfolding.

It's Portsmouth's to lose and that's a very nervy place to be with us and Charlton breathing right down your necks ready for any slip ups.

I don't expect us to make the play-offs but I do expect a rollercoaster ride on Sunday and wouldn't be surprised to see all 3 of us sit in 6th spot at various times.
