Pretty happy with our opening 10 games, plenty of points on offer...*should* see us off to a good start.

Burnley, Leeds and Huddersfield away in December, not a bad month.

Apart from two good away days in Bristol City and Charlton being put on Tuesday nights it's a decent looking fixture list.

Rotherham away and Preston at home to kick things off is very good, Birmingham and Leeds away over New Year, Fulham away (I believe) Easter Saturday and our last game is Forest at home, all in all some very, very good fixtures

Shoutout to the football league for giving us Middlesborough away on a Saturday and Burnley the following Tuesday, our 2 longest trips in the space of a few days

I'm at a wedding up north the weekend before Preston on the Tuesday, handy that

Also how many people are going to have the Monday after Boxing Day off? As its a Monday, were away to burnley that day

Our run in from March 8th looks grim, hope we aren't in trouble at that point.

Yeah that sucks. We might take a decent amount (for us) to Middlesbrough because we have never been and it is a Saturday but the Burnley attendance will be the worst of the season for sure because it isn't even a new ground.

The rest of the fixtures are fairly favourable as you say and the games like Fulham, QPR etc where we will take a decent following are all Saturdays.

Cardiff City at home on boxing day has to be the most bizarre fixture of the lot. I remember the last time we played them at home in 2004 and it kicked off big time when a number of locals decided to mob up and take on their 'Soul Crew'. Cardiff fans got battered that night, it was all very random. Thankfully no chance of that this time around.

To be honest mate, it really doesn't matter.

This is a mad division, anyone can beat anyone on any day. Often the block of games you think you'll not do so well is where you pick up most points. QPR first up might be good for us, before they've had any time to get into their stride.

It's a cracking division.

Just looking at the fixtures though are giving me bad memories of when we were last here!

I thought they said that they would finally sort out midweek away games so they weren't all long distance. Remember reading something that they were planning for teams to have a maximum of 3 long distance in a season.

We've ended up with Sheffield Wednesday, Rotherham, Hull, Derby and Huddersfield as our midweek aways..

Ours is the same, just swap Derby and Forest for Cardiff and Blackburn... we'll both be in the relegation zone by September

Be good to do the other half of Sheffield on opening day like we did last season.

Looks like Wolves will put the mockers on my birthday as we never win there.

Always thought that rumour was bullshit. Can get back from most of those in around 3 hours by car especially Derby.

Obviously if you dont drive it isnt so easy.

Wonder which game will be the Friday night on Sky or whether they will go into L1 like last year.

First away game is Fulham, August Saturday 3pm.. perfect.

Just about everything else.. urgh. Bristol City & QPR (again) both Tuesday nights. Plus the computer somehow landing us away at Boro on the final day for a 12:30pm kick-off for the second season running. Absolutely farcical!

Hopefully the fixtures on the final day kick off at 17:30 which is what the games on Saturdays on Sky through out the season are i think.
