A hat-trick from the first 3 balls of the match for Joe Leach too. There's been some pretty low scores in the Royal London so far.

I do hope sense prevails and Hampshire are awarded the win in the abandoned Glamorgan match due to a unsafe pitch

Maybe there is finally a bit of light at the end of the tunnel in terms of the search for the next young England spin bowler?

It's still very, very early days in the lad's career but Hampshire's 18 year old leg spinner Mason Crane looks like one hell of a prospect based on what I've seen of him on TV so far, although admittedly only in T20 and 50 over games.

He has an excellent bowling action, superb control for one so young and inexperienced and with excellent variations to add to his stock hard spun leg break.

I hope it's not too long before the England selectors consider getting him involved in some shape or form.

I hope they don't consider calling him up to the senior side any time soon. He looks like one hell of a prospect though.

Matthew Parkinson (also a leggie) just took 9 wickets in the under-19s test match against Australia as well. The quality of spinner that Lancashire have at their disposal means that he's probably some way off getting a game there for the time being.

A very impressive display of clean hitting from David Willey in the T20 quarter final at Hove this evening, 100 off 40 balls. As good as I've seen in T20 cricket for a while.

What a man David Willey is. Amazing innings. 100 from 40 balls is unreal and the way he just demolished Yardy in that over. I'll be straight on the phone on Monday booking my finals day tickets!!

I agree, the selectors should probably look to get him involved with the Lions this winter or next. However I see that Steve Harmsion is now calling for him to be selected for England in the UAE this winter.

Discipline problems wasn't it? Maybe they should try that in football, most Premier League sides would end up on minus points.

Yeah they got reported 5 times in a 12 month period for playings not so much abusing the umpires but going beyond acceptable levels.

Seems a pretty severe sanction though, even if means it is much less likely that Kent will finish bottom.

Agree with that, they also got a suspended fine. Chairman and Coach have both said it's a severe sanction but I really can't see them successfully challenging the decision.

Gutted about the result. We looked dead and buried after making only 142, but Kent fought back well despite some dodgy umpiring (Buttler should have been given out lbw first ball)

Nah, Buttler looked alright to me, it was going down leg. They also got the other LBW wrong that was given out, which clearly hit outside the line too - so not sure the umpires did Lancs any favours actually.

I didn't see our innings - we bowled and fielded very well on the whole though. Amazing catch from Lilley/Brown.

You have to feel sorry for Kent - they've got a good, mostly young team and had an exceptional group stage despite being unable to afford an overseas player.

Yet another Finals Day appearance for Lancs then, maybe we'll finally win it this year. Probably not.

Ingram has hit another one day century today, but in sad news Will Owen has officially retired from cricket after battling injuries.

Partially made up for Saturday, by winning tonight. Billings and Blake to the rescue, although Notts lost their last 6 wickets for 4 runs (Coles hattrick included)

The joys of a wet day, which has seen Kent qualify for a RL Cup local derby against Slurry
