Be interesting to see how they get on - presumably not much money & they seem very aggressive - but have had quite a lot of success.

There is a club being setup named AFC York as my Uncle is heading it up.

Reyt.

At some point this might become a good idea, but right now it isn't. Many questions spring to mind.

1. What league is this club going to appear in? Where is the money coming from? Even NCEL div 1 sides need a budget.

2. Where are they going to play? Nowhere in York is suitable, unless they're starting out in Sunday league.

3. Who is going to watch them? There is no shortage of disaffected City fans, but they are City fans and many will have no interest in a rival club whatever it calls itself.

If you can get some reasonable answers to these, you might get somewhere. It otherwise looks a non-starter.
