That photoshoot is horrendous. Agree about the Oxford similarity too.

It's the shorts combined with the top that makes it an Oxford kit. Don't Torquay normally role with a lighter blue?

Can actually buy the shirts for £17 on Pro Direct (without the badge/sponsor) so I'm interested if the club try to get £40 a pop. £23 for a sponsor and badge would be ridiculous.

They will.

And you'll find it will be around the same for most clubs that don't have a bespoke kit. Which is most non-league clubs.

You'll find that a ~50% profit margin on football shirts is industry standard if you are able to dig deep enough and find the numbers etc.

Bear in mind that clubs have to deal with all sorts of issues here, around over-stocking, size selection, and paying for them all up front to be made. It seems high on the face of it, but at the end of the day it is one of the main revenue streams for a club. It's an industry standard that has found it's level at about £40 a pop, and has been creeping up to the £45 mark in recent years.

Kingstonian have joined the BBB ranks & after just one season with (my own opinion) the best home shirt we've had since the fake nike ones of the mid 2000's we are now changing again, I think because we've changed supplier from Macron to someone else.

As is customary for us, we don't know what it is yet & will probably find out in our first league fixture as we tend to wear previous season shirts in pre season.

I don't like kits with lots of different widths of stripes. Hamlet had a similar one to that in pink & navy 7 or 8 years ago, with a plain navy back - the worst ever Hamlet kit IMO.

Our home kit is pretty standard and similar to previous years but looks clean as usual. I'm a massive fan of the away kit and it looked really nice in our first friendly
