Did I read right that Andy Pilley is trying to get out of Fleetwood to takeover Blackpool?

So I read that Sky chose Southend Vs Sunderland

What a farce if true

Surely it should have been Plymouth Vs Scunthorpe ffs

Of course it should. Shameless attempt by the Sky accountants to put viewing figures ahead of actually showing the most interesting game. W*nkers.

Just been reading the news that Ivan Toney received racist messages on his phone after last night's match by someone who some Pompey fans on social media have described as " seeing around "

Name is Cseri Zoltan username cserizoli & most probably be spotted dragging his knuckles on the floor.

What is it with all these morons coming out of the closet , hiding behind a phone etc , he wouldn't say it to Ivan's face & or if you've ever met his brother , that's 1 person you wouldn't pick a fight with .

Seems to be par for the course at the moment.

You're right about them coming out of the closet. It's like they feel they've been repressed in having to keep their racist bile under wraps for a couple of decades because of common decency / basic humanity etc. Now this warped zeitgeist we're experiencing is seen as some sort of call to arms for these nutters.

Must be awful to be the target for this. Toney, Sterling, Rose etc need to keep on highlighting and reporting on it as they have been. Can't be ignored.

I've no qualms about not playing on TV as we are generally pants on it but looking from a half neutral perspective it seems as though they've got that wrong. Hopefully Sunderland do the job. Please do the job.

We then still have to win which is another matter altogether...

Ainsworth strongly linked with the QPR job.

Whilst I don't want him to leave, I think he's certainly paid his dues at the club (second longest serving manager in the 92), and realistically probably taken us as far as he could on our budget.

If he has to go, this is as good a time as any, leaving us with our highest league finish since the 02/03 season, giving a new guy a full close season to make any changes, and also earning the club a payout since he's under contract till 2023.

There've been many rumours before linking Ainsworth with QPR, since they change managers with the breeze, but it feels like they may actually be true this time.

As a club we'd miss him a lot, but I wouldn't miss seeing the back of the "dark arts" if he does go.

Interesting..

In one way I obviously think it's a good move for you, but at the end of the day his tactics took you from L2 relegation fodder to L1 in 3/4 years with minimal investment. Bloody impressive job tbf

No way, I thought we'd finally escaped Ainsworth and his 'tactics' by getting into the Championship! :ffs:

I actually think you could probably get away with a draw.

I think Sunderland will win at Southend and I can't see Walsall winning away at Shrewsbury.

I actually reckon Walsall will win at already relegated Shrewsbury.

The absolutely battered Peterborough who then went on to beat Pompey away.

Last day stuff. Id think Southend will turn over Sunderland so sadly Plymouth look in a precarious spot to me

Grrrrr! Can't get to Bradford tomorrow and trying to work out the logistics of combining my existing iFollow account with a VPN. It's outside the blanket ban 3-5pm Saturday slot so why aren't our matches available to view for UK subscribers?

I guess because they consider it a normal weekend match?

I’ve heard the VPN is a lot more difficult this season to use as well. Apparently they upgraded their software last summer to recognize the VPN

Today is going to be fun.

We also have an open top bus parade lunchtime tomorrow. I think there will be a few sore heads at that time from the night before regardless what happens today.

They go one further and link it to specific accounts. So even when I'm abroad, they still try and restrict access. To get round this, I set up a new basic account under a new email address, which works overseas, but at home they still recognise it.

At the end of the day, the five year plan has been achieved. What can Wycombe do to entice him to stay? As right now, the club is going in the wrong direction.

Why are they so bothered. Surely if they relaxed and just pretended to stop us they would make more money.

Your guess is as good as mine...

Sky Sports protectionism more than likely. The same argument could be used for illegal overseas streams.

To be honest, I still don't understand why if you're 10,000 miles away you can watch a game on a Saturday afternoon but if you're 10 miles away you can't.

What evidence is there that attendances would drop if games are shown (at least online?)

I'm in the UK but 500 miles away from the ground, can hardly ever get down to a game so not depriving anyone of money (quite the opposite), but still have to play hide and seek on the VPN with multiple accounts. I think it is more to do with Sky than clubs fearing attendance drops.

Well we've got to hope for a miracle today to stay up. Not only do we rely on Sunderland and Shrewsbury, two teams with nothing to play, to stop teams winning. We also need to win a match, something we haven't done for almost two months. It also has to be a victory away from home, something we haven't done for four months. God we're doomed.

Should be a good day today for us, not overly bothered about the title if im honest, would be nice to win it but todays about celebrating whats been achieved by Mick and the team, the result is pretty inconsequential. So sorry Eric, you wont be pissing on our chips today.

Good luck to all those trying to avoid relegation today, and if you do go down I hope you come back stronger.

Agree it should have been the Plymouth game but it was annoying seeing people our game was pointless and didn't matter. Ignoring our need to win.

See your point but let’s be honest, it’s not chosen because of your need to win, it’s because of Sunderland which is a near pointless game for them.

Regarding iFollow, I do feel that if it was available then attendances would falter. But I don’t see a reason why they shouldn’t make day passes the same as ticket prices, that way the club doesn’t lose out at least
