It's not looking good for Jim at Hyde. I think the old Gannon magic is beginning to wear off.

Popped over to Causeway Lane for Matlock v South Shields
Decent gate of 1,364. The fact Shields are FT is clear to see they were quicker to the ball than their opponents. They just about deserved the win but Matlock battled hard throughout and finished very strongly in the final 20 but couldnt quite find a leveller.
