Reading this thread recently it appears that only Leyton Orient are deserving of promotion (and they've not exactly been positive!).

The rest of us should forfeit our opportunity and allow those finishing 21st, 22nd & 23rd in League One to stay up.

To be honest it's all a load of pathetic negative bollocks from everyone. We're all in a promotion fight not a relegation fight!

Think a few need to get themselves a good shag this Easter!

Despite barely putting in an above average performance we’ve lost only 1 of our last 14.

I really don’t think we’re in with an autos chance playing like we are but it was a big win for our play-off hopes today.
Now is the time to hit form, Apart from the last game, ovs.

Think your right if Carlisle could win Monday and pretty much secure top 7 I think a lot of pressure goes off ourselves, little bit sake for Stevenage.
Have you forgotten who HG is? He's not saying if we win on Monday we secure top 7, he's saying if we fail to win we can kiss goodbye to our top 7 chances.

You got out of the wrong side of bed this morning didn’t you.

I think we have to win yeah. It’s our easiest game left on paper, it’s a glorious chance. Can you imagine if we draw or lose at Walsall? Given we’ll then likely lose both the Northampton and Stockport games, it’d be a miracle if we’re still top 7 after that.

Obviously it won’t be mathematically over but it’d be extremely difficult.

At least I still think we’re in with a chance. Carver gave up after the Orient defeat, he’s written us off (his words).

We're top over the last five despite only scoring five. Everyone's stumbling to the finish line like it's the Olympics for drunks

Steady on. Some of us are strolling in the springtime. 11 unbeaten.

We had over 13,000 at our match yesterday.

Just shows how massive we are compared to the rest of this league bar Bradford and we would have no problem settling into the league above.

How many fans do the likes of Orient, Northampton and Mansfield get for their home games?
Tinpot attendances that's what, fuck all!

Here he goes… we win a game and here you are spouting your antagonising words of wisdom.

Just so you’re aware, and so you can maybe edit your post before people start bullying you, 2 of those teams you mention (Mansfield and Orient) have higher average home attendances this season than we do.

Our home crowds this year have been a disappointment at times, with the exceptions of the Barrow, Stevenage, Bradford, and Tranmere games. Depending on how the next couple of games go, we could close the season out with 4 straight 5-figure attendances, which would put our average above 7k - but still behind both Mansfield and Orient.

A word of warning for HG - as I noted on our forum, Walsall have only lost 4 at home all season, so Monday is far from a banker.

Didn’t suggest it was a banker, just think we need to be winning it.

Just so everyone is aware, I haven’t banged Shoddy’s girlfriend, nor have I banged any family member of his.

But he’s for some reason developed this obsession with me over the last 24 hours.

We've been getting between 8,500 and 8,700 most weeks. Much above your average attendance. Our attendances are very consistent thanks and with a larger capacity could have sold many more on the day tickets. The few hundred short of capacity is just season ticket no shows or poor away sections that haven't sold. Every seat has been sold for every home game this year.

Carlisle INFIGHTING.

If you had a fan of your club who continually puts your club down with over the top pessimism and fears of a promotion that would be then followed by a double relegation to the non-league, you too would have infighting.

And as for me being the pessimistic one.

I've written us off, we are pretty hopeless against the top teams in this league so therefore we're not good enough to go up.
Need to invest in the summer on better attacking and creative players, ones who are at their peak and have good pedigree for this level. Not some fucking loanee 18 year olds or past it has beens.

This was after last weeks defeat. Even I hadn’t gone as far as completely writing off our top 7 chances at that point.

Why does anybody even bother replying to Carver anymore?
Just a sad little Virgin looking for bites surely nobody actually takes him seriously?
I used to constantly bite at him before realising that he is a waste of oxygen.

Hahaha, what's your problem c***?

I've not even mentioned your decrepit club today and you're throwing such disgusting insults my way all of which are untrue.

I was just het up about us losing on the day, but you've wrote us off all season.

First time in a while we're a team gunning for promotion and instead of enjoying it all you do is predict us to get beat every match and tell us how shit we are and how we're going to become part time etc etc

EVERY SEASON you're like this.

Yeah but he's Carver, you knew that one win later he'd be kicking around D wing proclaiming us champions elect again.

Until we're safe from relegation there's gonna be a lot of different opinions voiced and there's bound to be conflict, with the form Hartlepool are on, if they overhaul us we're finished as a club.
Better start ripping up those part time contracts tomorrow morning, you’re done
