So many wank stains employed by this club.

Another year, another mid-table snoozefest.

Losing at least three Lancashire clubs this year, so next season will be even more dull. Wouldn't be surprised if we drop, good chance we'll lose DJ and Whiteman, Woodman too maybe, Evans retires, and we're basically hoping to get lucky in the loan market again. Can't see us paying any fees for players.

Draw keeps interest high in that 6th spot in what turned into a bit of a warm up game for the playoffs for us as we are set in 3rd now. Incredible achievement no matter what happens from here on out.

Started a bit slow and lethargic I felt which to be expected when there’s not much riding on the game. In the playoffs we are going to have to be careful not get turned over wjth Drameh and Doughty high, that leaves us very exposed especially if Bradley is going to have to play. Unfortunately I think he’s a bit of a weak link now.

Second half was much better, played much higher intensity got the goal and then were largely controlling the game I felt. Subs we made destabilised that a little bit getting a few players minutes which is where we ended up losing that control. 1-1 probably fair but not sure we make those subs and changes in the second half if the game had some meaning on it. Thought Bell was absolutely outstanding as was Lockyer, really hoping Burke/Osho are going to be good to go for the playoffs.

PRM to blame for a very half hearted attempt at defending the corner that led to the rovers equaliser…
He’s got to do better than that at this level

Something went wrong there with the marking, he shouldn’t be the one marking the big centre half from a corner anyway. Think the changes, Potts had just come on, caused a bit of confusion there.

Delighted that Reading won't be on the fixture list next season.

Too sunny?
Frozen pitch, was a few days after Christmas, there wasn't even a warning of an inspection from memory. Around 2005-ish. Not my favourite club.

Think we won the rearranged game but I didn't bother making the trip again.

Thats a real downer. Had a few like that back when i used to go, but never that long a wasted trip.

Orient (no distance at all) one season sticks in the mind. Took us ages to find a parking spot on late arrival and the second we did, on the radio '.......and Orient Luton is off'

After our opening fixture i said i believe you would be in top 6 cos i was impressed by you and i genuinely think you will get a result today so don’t worry about a thing. We need to beat Preston at a ground we tend to struggle at and we need Millwall not to win. Hopefully Blackburn turn up. There will be twists and turns no doubt.

Had a terrific season considering our main striker has been injured, and captain and at present we are playing without CB’s. Injury list is horrific but yet we still play good footy and are in with a shout of top 6. Future is bright indeed.

Did that once in 2001 going to Wimbledon.

No phones (well certainly not like today) or radio on so went to park up and wondered why it was sp quiet !

Good luck to those playing for something today .

We are battling for 10th..

We screwed over Boro on the final day last season when they could have sneaked 6th, and we had zero to play for. Beat them 4-1, hopefully there will be similar shithousery from us today, but I doubt it.

Luton in my opinion, need to give some gametime to some fringe players today - just to get them up and running considering what we could need in the play offs.

James Shea for one hasn't played in 13 months and you never know if a red card or injury could come into play.

I'd go with:

GK James Shea
RWB Codey Drameh (45 minutes for Fred Onyedinma)
LWB Amari'i Bell
RCB Reece Burke
LCB Tom Lockyer
CB Sonny Bradley (45 minutes for Gabe Osho)
CM Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu
CM Luke Freeman
CM Jordan Clark
CF Elijah Adebayo
CF Carlton Morris (45 minutes for Joe Taylor)

Subs: Ethan Horvath, Fred Onyedinma, Gabe Osho, Marvellous Nakamba, Allan Campbell, Joe Taylor, Luke Berry

We have gone even weaker than Kenny was expecting. 8 changes, Lockyer, Morris, Adebayo, Drameh, Nakamba not even on the bench. Defence looks ok, but attack looks a bit weak with just Taylor although a good opportunity for him.

Good to get minutes into Osho, Clark though who are coming back from injury.

Not sure if it’s just them being allergic to being on TV but every time Blackburn are on they look absolutely terrible. They’ll miss them now but it does leave you wondering how they were in playoff contention in the first place.

They have just been another inconsistent rabble .

Least the top 6 have had some form so credit to them .

They will have a big job on their hands if they lose Brereton-Diaz this summer.

I wouldn’t fancy coming up against Millwall in the playoffs to be fair assuming they make them. Look the sort of team that could cause a problem especially at the Den. Would be somewhat amusing as well how the tourist types that go to some of the PL grounds would take to Millwalls arrival I must admit.

Wow Millwall absolutely messed that up royally.

Means we get Sunderland in the playoffs. Thought Sunderland were excellent in the game down here, really dangerous young side who passed the ball well. Their lack of focal point in attack will I think be of benefit to them against us and we will need to be aware of our shape because of that. Can’t have Bradley playing centre half in that sort of game imo

Should have beat them in the away game but for a horrendous dive by Diallo we had but 2 1-1 draws show it’s going to be a tight one. Honestly not sure who I’d have picked to play if given the opportunity, not sure it would have been Sunderland though, nervous already

Got nowt but admiration for luton. Shared a train with a luton fan 6th april 2013. Di canio took owa us and was ready for his first game on the sunday. Train journey to my friends in boro was canny. Fella next to me with a luton scarf told me his team lost 5-1 to Gateshead. I was genuinely shocked. In my ignorance i genuinely had no clue about the national league but luton losing to fucking Gateshead is shit. Absolutely love the fact Luton are on their way bk. if we don’t go up i hope they do. Mick Harford loves em. Btw fair play to Blackburn. Thank you.

Coming back from 2 down v us certainly helped Coventry and Sunderland.

Fortunately Stoke couldn’t do the same .

Well that was a total non event. Its not even worth a review in the end - I've seen more intensity on the first day of pre-season training.

For the final quarter of the match Luton had zero strikers on the pitch.

Now for Operation Zulu Alpha in the play offs.
