Hopefully the 700 travelling today can still make it tomorrow. Not ideal for those who paid for train tickets etc but hey ho, dems the breaks.

Also speaking of trains, apparently a train strike tomorrow and with it being a normal working day, probably will be quite a few unable to now make it. Why it’s a 7.30pm kick off and not 8pm to make it easier for fans, only the wiser football leaders know.

If the pitch is that bad, is being tomorrow going to make any difference? A double cancellation should equal relegation.

How quickly? Hours? Any chance they can play tonight? Sorry if it's a daft question.
Well we know the answer to that now.

There's a twitter thingy with the ref 'explaining' the decision (it's wet) it does show a picture of the south goal which is a puddle.

Train strike tomorrow and the m25 closed on Saturday. Anyone would think they don't want away fans.

The other game.

From the form table Donny should walk it but I have a sneaking suspicion that Crewe will turn them over.

Anyone thinking of placing a bet on my prediction should look at the who will finish where tab. I'm right down the bottom.

Bloody typical, the forecast did not show anything like this amount of rain in the last few days. The local area has received an inch of rain and the roads are horrendous. What are the fucking chances. As Casey said, our pitch is pretty damn good especially after Brighton invested a big amount for their women’s team.
Not many pitches in this division or even league 1 would have withstood this amount of rainfall. Gutted as I can’t make the game tomorrow.

Crewe are their own worst enemies. Constantly giving the ball away unforced in their own defensive third.

Do Crewe always play this far off their opponents?

Just letting Donny do whatever they want with the ball

Crewe were this bad when we played them the other week. Absolutely dreadful and questions have to be asked....how tf are they in the playoffs?

Because they went through a very very good period when they were red hot and briefly challenging top 3.

Oh and more importantly they got enough points

That first half pretty much sums up our last two months.

In control of the game, looking dangerous, switch off and concede, completely implode, get battered. In that order.

Doncaster couldn't have asked for easier playoff opponents, we never stood a chance.

I did think Crewe might surprise us, but Donnie pretty clearly on top. Still, how often do matches turn on their head after half time?

Crewe have got to be careful here, they concede another and pretty much game over. Their only outlet seems to be from the long throw, they have struggled to get at Donny so far. Donny happy to sit off and wait for the Crewe mistake to get the ball back.

Kiss of death for them now but doncaster look well on top here, crewe not getting a look in, sadly for them they’re been their own worst enemies today.

I put money on Doncaster to go up weeks ago so they've been doomed since then.

Why couldn’t we have ended up with Crewe? My vote is for changing the play-off rules so the team in 4th gets to pick who their opponents are as a reward.
I like this, gives the team who gets picked some more motivation as well.

I work for the FA so can confirm we have also discussed penalties being replaced by possession stats and XG replacing GD.
