Drew 1-1with Leeds. Played pretty well overall and finally have found a decent looking defence and looking much better organised. Too late I fear.

New signings have been largely a disappointment but Aasgaard and Makosso look like 2 players we could rebuild around. Indeed if I was Aasgaard I’d be having a word with my agent, not sure what induced him to sign here in January, could have had his pick of championship clubs this summer I’d imagine

A predictable defeat at Bristol City.

Lost Baah to another long term injury as well.

Least we had one striker who got a goal.

1-1 draw in a dire game. Started with some promise I thought but quickly degenerated post Doughty injury into a very bad game.

Draw doesn’t do much for us I don’t think as was a must win for me.

At least we look more organised but attacking wise we are shocking. Chong stealing a living in particular.

One moment of quality and some good goal keeping decided our game.

Hull tried hard and pressed at the end but didn't really have the quality - nor did we generally but got the goal.

Blackburn at home for us today, Doughty now apparently out of for the run in too which means the chronic issue of lack of viable understudy for him crops up again. Never known a couple of seasons like we have had with injuries - we have unquestionably been rubbish but the amount and timing of a lot of the injuries we have had have been massive contributory factors.

Won 5 from 19 since the Rohl to Southampton saga

Piss poor end to what looked, at one point, promising season. Home form inexcusable

All over for us then you would expect after todays results.

Injuries to Doughty and Adebayo particularly cruel given their timing but Bloomfield got it all wrong today. Firstly he got suckered into sticking with Alli at LWB because he got a goal in the midweek game even though even in that game he was clearly not comfortable doing it. Then stuck with Chong up front with Morris despite Chong....well Chong is shit to be blunt no matter where you put him but hes certainly not a striker. Never once read a Morris flick on all day.

Morris himself is a shadow of what he was, at least Adebayo misses chances, Morris never even has them. No goal for 4 months and he hasnt looked close either.

Then the subs with a bizarre straight swap for some defenders and sticking the one footed Bowler on the opposite side so he, and Alli had to cut in all the time against a packed defence when the only real space was the wings.

Aasgaard had some moments but really disappointing showing in a "must win" game and whilst the players are poor, Bloomfield certainly didnt help the cause.

Only Clark, Aasgaard and Makosso come out of this with much credit and probably those 3 we need to build around next season in the level below.

I dare not predict too much but looks like Leeds and Burnley are going up now - the latter have us next week so that is another 3 points for them.

Pompey fans can probably rest easy a bit too as they will collect a much needed win on Easter Monday.

Was a big chance wasted - a team out of form at home too.

We're on the beach for the final 8 games as usual. We've been fucking awful. Need 9-10 new players in the summer.

Well the tide is coming in so fast for you!

What has gone so wrong..

Just been caught out with the guys below you generally having great runs of form.

Mind you we're pretty lucky not to be down there too - awful run since Christmas and fans are turning against Cleverley a bit now although still point fingers at the hierarchy generally.

Massive relegation battle at Fratton Park tomorrow. Thanks god its not us going into the last day needing something. If Hull only needed to not lose tomorrow I'd be betting on them. As they need to win and come at us I think they may not be on the good side of the result. Pompey tend to do well against sides who try and win. Leeds, Middlesborough, Bristol City, Coventry, Swansea all tried to go for us. We lost to Plymouth and Millwall who basically sat deep and let us have the ball.

Always felt our recent up turn in form was somewhat illusory largely based on some good fortune (the Hull win the main one) and proving the case here with that first half performance. Defensively all at sea, afraid to say that Bell has totally cost us here - had a complete and utter stinker. He should have been one of the first players replaced post the promotion as he was clearly done in the PL, to have him still being wheeled out in such an important game says a lot about the route cause of this relegation.

Hoping for favours but we simply don’t deserve them, we’ve deserved to go down this season.

What a bloody awful situation. I genuinely didn't see yesterday coming, but it probably summed up the season as a whole.

The most avoidable relegation ever. But we got what we absolutely deserved.

13 away defeats on the spin were the death knell this season. To even get into a position where we were favourites to survive deserves some credit of the current management team. The prior 10 games, we were 3rd in the form table.

Yet they completely shanked it. To go 5-1 down after an hour in this match of all matches is absolutely terrible. And then there's no way back bar a Portsmouth winner.

The knives will be out - and deservedly so.

Combination of a shit squad, injuries all coming at the same time, constantly getting shafted by referees, and having to play a National League keeper in goal for 8 games. Heckingbottom has also lost the plot in the past 2 months.
