So anyone want to revise their predictions, because we have Derek Adams reappointed and 3 parties who might take over the club, this is weird

Still silly doing predictions when most clubs couldn't even field full team yet, let alone have subs.

I will wait until a week before the season starts before my prediction and it'll still be miles out next May!

The squad is currently. But I expect we’ll bring some players in to improve us a bit. Think we’ll have a slow start (hangover from last season) then we’ll pick up a bit and finish around the comfortably safe positions.

Surely Carlisle should be looking to bounce straight back up? Anything less than play offs would be a failure with the amount of expenditure you've made since the new owners came in.

Our recruitment is tinpot and we are located in the arse end of nowhere so signing good players is difficult.

Stopping the rot and changing the losing culture won’t be easy. Bouncing back immediately isn’t a realistic expectation with this squad, even with a few quality additions.

I reckon Notts will be really strong this year top three. Hoping we can crack the playoffs but obviously have to see who we sign first.

We'll need a few more in and Maynard will need to step up. If all that happens, we keep our best players and we don't get horrendous injuries then why not.

It was as clear as day where you needed to strengthen and it appears you already have done, if you keep your attacking options you’ve a decent chance.

More depends on Part Time Stu than any players signed. If he is as good as the owners and the super computer believes we should be playoffs as a minimum.

If he isn't then it's stability. Either way it should be entertaining with the attacking talent we currently have.

I'm hoping for Step Up Stu

You’ve changed your tune

It's true about our recruitment though isn't it.

I just listened to the last Radio Cumbria sport podcast with Lee Dykes who was the guest and it all just reminded me of how good he was as our head of recruitment and how our current head Greg Abbott seems completely inept and clueless.

We may be making really good improvements off the pitch with the stadium and facilities etc, but I just feel that nothing is changing regarding the playing side of things because we're still employing the same useless old school coaching, recruitment and management staff who are out of their depth and who we should have moved on from now that we have new ownership.
