Is Rovers v Aldershot on BT Sport tonight?

If not, why is it tonight?

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere.

A lot of our fans reckon this is a really difficult game tomorrow, possibly the hardest away game remaining. Out of interest, is there segregation in the ground and, if so, where do you put the away fans.

Our home form this season hasn't been spectacular but the players will be up for it knowing it's their last chance to make the play-offs.

I wouldn't have thought tomorrow would be segregated, even if you're putting on free coaches. If it is, you'll be in the open air terrace along the side and have some seats in the LGS ('big stand').

Thanks for the reply. When we played H&Y they only opened two sides of the ground, which was probably overkill for a crowd under 300 and we found ourselves at one end of the covered end and the home fans at the other end. As the weather looks ok, if a bit chilly, I guess most of our fans will go on the open terrace.

We are putting on some free coaches, which will definitely help boost numbers. When I phoned in to book a seat, about three hours before the cut-off, they had over a hundred booked already and were starting to fill a third. The bloke I spoke with reckoned that there were still some more to book. However, someone has posted on our forum they took bookings from two hundred, which sounds a bit inflated to me. Either way, I reckon we will bring something like 200-250, which isn't a bad turn-out and hopefully we will make a bit of noise.

His reasoning is that as soon as we have the play-offs secured, we can concentrate on finishing higher. So basically as long as we're mathematically confirmed in the play-offs on the last day of the season, we can try and catch up the 10-15 points that we'll be behind. Of course if we forget about the play-offs and try to win every game in order to win the league, there is no chance in hell we'll make the play-offs.
If we had given a good account of ourselves in previous play offs then whilst still not agreeing with his theory, I would understand where he was coming from a bit more.
But with the exception of last seasons home leg, we have been total dogshit in them, this is why if we end up in them again, I will be a nervous wreck from minute 1 to 180.
And if we lose in them for a third year running, my dog will end up with a golf club shoved up his arse!
;)

McCrystal sounds like he's having a mare, almost scores an own goal by heading past his keeper, concedes a foul that leads to the goal and now booked.

That big crowd is making the players nervous

Oh well. Aldershot put up a decent fight for 55 minutes but pressure seemed to be building.

Pressure now on us to see off Welling tomorrow...

Comfortable tonight, over to you boys.

I always felt we'd win that game, even at half time. We stepped off them a couple of times which gave them the ball, but always felt we could raise a gear and win if.

Although the Barnet fan is obsessed with the "pressure" the fanbase put on Rovers, they were very supportive tonight which isn't always the case. Yes, McChrystal had a bad game but he is culpable of one or two every now and again, nowt to do with any sort of pressure he's been like that through his career.

Forget about fictional fan pressure, the pressure now is on Barnet to match our result, I think they will but I won't blame it on their fans if they don't.

Oh, and Easter looked very sharp tonight and Lines very creative, what we've needed all season.

Just repeating what your commentators said on the radio at that moment in the game. They felt the injury break had taken the momentum out of you, that the goal had made the crowd nervous and this was being transmitted onto the players. I wasnt there, so I can't judge and have no obsession on it.

You do seem a little obsessed with the word "pressure" though.

I'm always a little annoyed with our fanbase and how fickle they can be, but I thought they were largely supportive tonight and when they're like that they are definitely more help than hindrance.

If we can't score against a team that conceded 5 at home to Braintree then I can't see us scoring for the rest of the season. It's been 601 minutes since an actual Harriers player scored and that was Lee Hughes against Woking so we really need a goal. Hopefully Nicholson can do it against his old club again.

Good win tonight, was a bit unfortunate to concede an equaliser, but a sloppy goal from a set piece yet again! Ah well, couple of decent goals to seal the win, though I would have liked us to have gone on and scored a couple more having gone 3-1 with 30 mins to go.

Aldershot always had the quality going forward (excellent finish from Williams and German created a few problems) but defensively they were a bit all over the place. Good supports from Shots fans on a Friday night, didn't have much to shout about but gave it a go. With the right manager there's no way that set of players would be involved in a relegation battle.

Easter was excellent as the poster above says, provided that key difference - although to say he's the 'best we've seen at the Mem for years' is a bit premature. He's still clearly a bit unfit too, so that's encouraging as he should get better with game time. All in all, good win despite the set back after half an hour.

Fully expect Barnet, Macc and Grimsby to do the same tomorrow, but you never know.
