Plymouth having more and more similarities to our season back in 2017/18. We lost in the tinpot trophy at Wembley and then after being top 2 virtually all season, we missed out to two clubs who dwarfed our budget. We then went onto loose in the play off final and come the summer we lost almost our whole squad, manager and back room staff.

I’m confident that the above story will repeat itself for Plymouth come May unfortunately for them.

That’s funny because I’m confident Plymouth will be promoted automatically along with one of Wednesday and Ipswich. There’s nothing to suggest Plymouth will fall away at the moment.

Biggest five days of the season now. We either get our shit together, bounce back and continue our promotion charge or we completely capitulate and that will be us in LG1 for another 3 seasons at least. Huge

Come on "Wacko"... what's not to like about a four goal THRILLER?
(PS. Suggest you update your avatar...that particular ship sailed two decades ago)

A surprising result, I thought it would be much tighter with whoever winning doing so marginally, very happy with the result though !

Stick to the boat race and leave days like yesterday to people who appreciate a Wembley final
What does that actually mean? It was a pizza trophy, no one will care who won it next year

A day out at Wembley is still pretty shit though.
We have won twice at the new Wembley, yet Cardiff was still the best day out where we lost v Donny in the JPT final.
Maybe cos you're near to Cardiff but Wembley is number one for me.

It is a little bit. It was our generosity that allowed you to be able to afford to buy your ground.
Think we got a better deal a keeper who helped us win 3 fa cups...They got a few quid to buy St James Park

Well just about recovered from a great weekend.. The atmosphere was the best at Wembley for years, you get that when you have literally no neutrals in the ground , as the commentator said the sound was louder than any FA Cup/ Final or Premiership game, So at the moment we stand in the unique position as the first club to win at Wembley and the last club to win at Wembley. We were and always will be the first team to score a goal in the football league. We have just played in front of the biggest attendance in world football this weekend less than 3 years after being a few hours from being liquidated because of the actions of one unscrupulous and corrupt despot who should never have been within a million miles of running a football club. We were fielding a team of teenagers and getting hammered 5-0 every week
Things are finally on the up and the thousand of Bolton fans all over the world who have stuck by the team (easy to turn to United/City/Liverpool when they are twenty minutes away) deserve a period of success after the last 10 years. So nice hearing thousands of fans singing The old classic "the Whtes" are coming up the hill" song under the Arch. Onwards and upwards !
