Phew! We won! Didn't make the museum but took a wander around Tooting Broadway. So many eateries, a foodie's delight. Perfect place to stop off on the way to Plough Lane. Better than the food offerings in the away end.

Highlights on record, which I'll watch for a change. Back to live football next week.

Couple of cracking saves here from Bradford’s keeper especially the last one.
Easily the best keeper we’ve had in the last 10-15 years barring say Pickford on loan - these saves are the norm, add in his distribution, handling, communication… my only concern is some Championship side comes in for him as a number two.

I was a bit skeptical when we first signed him because he hadn't played a game of football for 3/4 years but bloody hell was I wrong. Can't believe he's been rotting in Southampton's under-23 team until we signed him. He could easily step up to League One and I hope it's with us.

We might have to keep ahold of our coats, just incase the roof blows away.

You are lucky to have a roof and so what’s wrong with a bit of tape to hold it on? Are you too young to have experienced the away end at Belle Vue, Donny? No roof, no terraces, just mud and clinker…

It's really weird, we are 5th now but have looked far from being brilliant. Don't get me wrong 3 points is all we ask for but it's been a little bit of a grind to get 6 home points against two very poor sides. Baudry and Clayton a bit of a liability at the back today and Wakeling hasn't looked good since his new contract. We did score 2 good goals and probably should have put the game to bed second but it was far from as convincing as we would like.

As you say the next 3 games much tougher, wonder if we might bring Reed back for a bit of nous.
Wouldn't say they were two good goals, two easy balls in that nobody wanted to defend. You were always going to get the win but as you or another poster said we didn't fold and battled to keep it respectable. That's what we're reduced to, we kept the scoreline down. Depressing.

Hard to say if you looked good or not as we make all but the divisions very worst sides look like Champions League teams but I must say Umerah was all over your centre halves and you were very lucky that Drysdale wanted to give everything to your centre backs. I'd say if you have a glaring weakness it's there and better sides will punish you.

Interesting that you've not mentioned the foul against us that wasn't given before your second goal, but I suppose you can't catch everything.

Nor that the corner from which they equalised was blatantly a goal kick. Almost as if the officiating was wildly incompetent all round…

We don't quite share Salford's view on this being a "derby" or even remotely a "rivalry" just because of close proximity hence the tweets above.

Good three points, typical League Two though- grind fest, boring game.

Doesn't sound as boring as the the game yesterday at Blundell Park though in yesterday's 0-0 stalemate between Grimsby and Bradford.
It clearly isn't - tinpot thread please

Yes from your perspective it was poorly defended but despite the amount of crosses Hutton and Gladwin put in every game, we rarely look like scoring from them so 'good' that we got the 2 goals from crosses.

I did like Umerah up front for you, as you say he was battling with Baudry all game and didn't get the protection other referees might give. Our commentator suggested that Umerah would shirt pull when battling for the ball and rely on Baudry retaliating. Difficult one but seems like the ref saw it as offences evening themselves out, tough one to call.

Yeah I did say that our centre backs Clayton and Baudry were rotten yesterday, Baudry was culpable against Colchester also. We are really missing MacDonald who got injured against Northampton and old man time is catching up on Frenchy. I think between the boxes we are fine, but up front and at the back we still need work.

Good luck in your battle to survive, I thought you looked better than Colchester if that's any consolation at all.

Don't read all the threads, we discussing the Grimsby Bradford snoozefest in there too? If so, apologies.
Yes just the Derby Day claim from Salford for the Tinpot thread.

Yes, whilst it wasn't snoozefest at all, there have been pages of mutual "wasn't that a superb 0-0 draw" love-in from us and Bradford fans, deserves a bit of piss-taking from others...

Only downside was Hylton getting a straight red. I’m a bit biased obviously but another soft soft soft red card. He’s raised his hands but not with any force. Also should have had a blatant penalty, the standard of refereeing has been worse than I can remember it for a long while.

Just scrolled through about 6 pages of Bradford and Grimsby chat, must have been a quality game, can't wait to watch all the goals on the ITV show tonight.
That's what happens when you sell out pal. Guessing both Barrow fans were at the match.

Yeah Lewis had a great match, potentially man of the match for me. Those two saves from Richardson were great. Thought Richardson looked absolutely class when he came on, one of those goes in against a lot of teams in this division and we win 1-0.

Carlisle United FC should be THROWN OUT OF THE LEAGUE FOR THAT!!

Ha!

Coin throwing is nothing compared to throwing fireworks as your fans do and let's be honest, the only reason you'd want us thrown out of the league is because it's one less relegation spot you would have to worry about.

Bradford fans, does Mark Hughes always sit and the back of the dugout with seemingly very little interest in the game or was yesterday a one off?

Drysdale was a Homer yesterday.
The lad that caught Shelton midriff could easily walked(Wreckless).

A little disturbing when Odour scored not one player went to congratulated him.

Fergie is playong the worst i,ve seen him play, Can,t get close enough stop the cross.
As Curle said the goals were of our own making, Don,t blame Odour for the first
He,s not a full back, The ball traveled a long way Killip could have possibly taken it
But maybe i,m being over critical.
Ferguson and Lacey need hanging out to dry for the second.

Noticed that, it was more like the lads were heading to put a coffin in the ground than congratulate the scorer who also looked like he had just died. Oduor is a good player, he needs to play most games for me. His marking was slack but he shouldn't be defending the back post really, needs to be playing higher up the pitch. Ferguson has been awful but his deputy Paterson is even fucking worse. He is the symbol of our budget and recruitment.

I also thought we looked better than Colchester when we played them but we let in a 94th min equaliser. Trouble is we need to be better than two teams and I'm struggling beyond them.

Keeping Umerah fit and not flogging him to Port Vale or somewhere in Jan plus signing half a dozen established L2 players then we might have a tiny chance of staying up.

It was odd. 2 goals down early on and you get gifted a goal to get completely back in the game. There didn't appear to be any fistpumps or any determination that that was the goal needed to fire up your side. Body language was visibly poor. Pretty understandable given where you are in the league but you at least want to show some evidence that there is some fight in the side.

It's been a common theme the lack of unity when we do score and we are capable of doing that, they just know that the clown show at the back will scupper anything. Think the players simply have no faith in each other. Possibly Curle coming out in midweek and deliberately picking our worst players, losing 6-0 to a PL academy and then come out and say they are rubbish might not help but I don't think I can blame him for that really.

Comparisons aside, both should never happen inside a football ground. But many of your fans on Twitter were hammering Barrow and labelling us all scum after Tuesday's incident, whereas I don't see that one coin throwing tosser paints a fair reflection on the genuine Carlisle fans or the club itself.

Obviously I've no experience in football management but I imagine what Curle needs to do is literally get the squad together, tell them that they are going back to basics and the absolute minimum the players show is fight and togetherness during the 90 minutes. Its almost certainly not anything you can instil overnight but to get everyone moving in the right direction it's something that needs to happen.

I don't condone any coin tossing, however it was provoked by Wellens and the rest of the Leyton Orient benches reaction towards our fans at the full time whistle which wasn't professional at all so there's that, but your fans throwing fireworks at our players wasn't provoked at all so Barrow being called 'scum' is well justified.

Wellens said in his interview that his reaction at the end was provoked by the coin tossing during the game.

How do we decide who's telling the truth here?

Harrogate are a very frustrating side to play against. They’re more direct even than Sutton; and Alexander up top is a good target man, possibly the best at winning the aerial duels in the league.

Aside from that Harrogate were very ordinary but battled very hard, with some unusual officiating allowing lots of rough tackles & shirt pulling - but it’s up to us to overcome that.

After a sloppy first half and poor goal to concede, we bounced back second half and should have won the game.

Three home games on the bounce now, so a good chance to move into the playoff spots.

Yeah, he's always like that. Leaves the berating of the fourth official to his assistant for the most part.
