Easy Swindon win. Clear quality gap between the likes of Hutton, Williams and our lot. Some of the players are painfully out of their depth at this level.
I had a celebratory drink cos we only got beat 2-1.How bad is that.

Noticed that, it was more like the lads were heading to put a coffin in the ground than congratulate the scorer who also looked like he had just died. Oduor is a good player, he needs to play most games for me. His marking was slack but he shouldn't be defending the back post really, needs to be playing higher up the pitch. Ferguson has been awful but his deputy Paterson is even fucking worse. He is the symbol of our budget and recruitment.
I maybe going over the top, But for me if the ball travels that far to the back stick
Then i think a decent keeper comes for it.
He may not get there but he may well get in the face of the attacker.
Agree about Odour, He is like Molls, But dare i say better would scare most defenders.

No matter which way i look at it, I can,t defend Lacey.
How on earth that player got in front of him for the second is beyond belief.

Harrogate are a very frustrating side to play against. They’re more direct even than Sutton; and Alexander up top is a good target man, possibly the best at winning the aerial duels in the league.

Aside from that Harrogate were very ordinary but battled very hard, with some unusual officiating allowing lots of rough tackles & shirt pulling - but it’s up to us to overcome that.

After a sloppy first half and poor goal to concede, we bounced back second half and should have won the game.

Three home games on the bounce now, so a good chance to move into the playoff spots.
Think we allowed them to dictate how the game would be played, too much long ball direct stuff from Rovers.

It’s most games when our forwards get their shirts pulled to the extent of ripping and the officials do nothing. I didn’t think yesterday’s ref was any different to the others in that respect and he tried to keep the game flowing and was fairly consistent, so an improvement on some seen at Rovers games on yesterday’s showing.

While poor defending in the build-up to the Harrogate goal it did take a big deflection off Simeu, so the luck against us there. Thought we were the better side up to that point and while Rovers had the better chances in both halves, the hosts had a good chance to sneak the win near the end.

I think ref blew for the foul on the keeper but let him carry on as he had it in his hands.
Although not a booking in itself, and as a manager you tell your players to snap at an inexperienced keeper, that was the third time our keeper had been caught. Keepers get too much protection but there comes a point where all players need a ref to look out for them.

I can see why Mansfield fans like Lapslie. Gets around the field, digs into opposition players and finds space to do stuff. Good player. Must thank manager for putting him wide and out the way.

I'm not going to get carried away but two decent home wins on the trot. The atmosphere around the ground miles better and the players seem a lot happier. Maybe Betsy gave them too much info. Let's see what happens when we have the next set back.

Just plucked up the courage to watch the lowlights.
The first goal, the whole defence & keeper, just stand & watch the cross comes in ,while our much heralded captain fantastic turns his back on the ball.
God help us,absolutely pathetic.

I’m just writing that one off, we did not play well even though we turned around a 2-0 score line, Crawley started both half quickly and we were asleep and that’s cost us the game. Harbottle had a nightmare, Clough took him off straight after the second. Before Saturday we won 4 away on the bounce so got to forgive and move on to Newport.

Wellens said in his interview that his reaction at the end was provoked by the coin tossing during the game.

How do we decide who's telling the truth here?

I would say anything thrown was probably done before end of game, didn’t see what happened at the end (as I had to catch train) but it had been brewing between away bench and fans most of the game, neither party innocent.

On fans side I doubt that their shouting at away bench consisted of ‘oh I say could you sit down please dear chap’ but on flip side the bench reminded me of Steve evans……very mouthy and gobby the entire game, get sorry for 4th official who the Orient bench surrounded all game, while the Carlisle crowd also mouthed at all game

A shame with the coin as I’d rather the banter even if very ‘mature’ because it makes for a much better atmosphere.

Have seen the highlights now.

Regarding the offside for Orient's third goal. I can only assume the linesman thinks Corey Whelan has touched that ball. If Whelan touches it then the ball then the offside Orient player is free to go for it. Whelan lets it through his legs in our second big defensive stuff-up of the game, and presumably this is what throws the linesman.

The handball is a handball, should have had a penalty, I think even the Orient fans felt they got away with that one.

We can feel a bit hard done by over the red card because the Orient captain does go down a bit easy and it was right after the penalty incident so if we'd been awarded the penalty this altercation would never have happened. By the letter of the law though if you raise a hand to a player's face, regardless of whether you deliver a haymaker or just push him away, it's a red card and three-game ban so we can't have any complaints and have admitted this.

The highlights don't show us winning the corner for our goal so I can't say if it should have been a goal-kick, it's harder to tell whether there should have been a foul before the Orient game, looks like Fin Back has got his foot to the ball and presumably that's how the ref saw it. The ref did let a lot of stuff go all game long so was probably never likely to give something like that.

Speaking of possible red cards. It has been mentioned on our forum that a Mansfield player was very lucky to not get one.

Last five mins, Crawley doing a rubbish job of trying to keep the ball in the corner when the Mansfield player makes a tackle and the lino flags for a throw in to us. I turned away at that point but it seems the player squared up to the lino and pushed him.

The last action on the highlights was Crawley's 3rd goal in the 48th minute so I make no sure judgement but anything like a push and he is lucky not to be sitting out for a long time.

He was booked and as he has now five bookings this season, he will miss the game on Tuesday.

If he made a meal of it for me a common sense change of rule would be to ban the Carlisle player 3 games for raising hand and Orient player 3 games for play acting.

It would then clamp down on it, but authorities have never wanted to clamp down on play acting or simulation, then all wonder why the game is full of it.

There was a player that simulated to get one of ours sent off in the national league a few years ago, possibly an Ebbsfleet player.

Our red was overturned and their player given a three match ban. It was said it’d spark more work from the FA like that, but went quiet on the topic quickly.
