tbf its good that Chessie have awaken from the depths. Hopefully a bit of a rivalry in this league despite them hatin Shef(Mansfield) more *wink

We honest dont have any real rivalry apart from Bristol Rovers i guess. Forest are just tit for tat. Mansfield just best us all the time so whatevs Chessie are similar to Burton as being so annoying. We are accepting applications for Notts rivalry, any takers, never mind!
You can have Hartlepool?

Bristol Rovers...?

An old one from the 90s, I think. One of those stupid ones that just happened because of stuff on the pitch.

I think it started when they beat us in the semi-final of whatever the JPT was called back then when the referee disallowed a perfectly good last minute equaliser because extra time would’ve meant he missed his flight or something. Then a couple of years later they needed a win at ML to stay up, were timewasting absurdly and we equalised by not giving the ball back when they’d put it out for an ‘injury’. Something like that, anyway. It’s not one anyone cares about any more though, I don’t think.

Cheers - love these random ones.

Personally I despise Brighton for their behaviour during our troubles early 2000's.

Brighton were fantastic with us, did a huge whipround and joined in some of our marches against Hamilton. Always had a soft spot for them since. What did they do to you?

A long time ago 2000/2001 can't remember exactly, when we had the crook Brown in charge. We played them at Saltergate and there was a load of trouble.

We then played the return fixture after all of Brown's crimes had been exposed and instead of sympathising with a club struggling to stay alive they mocked us. Brown paper envelopes were waved at one fixture in particular.

Seem to remember the club itself also arguing for stronger sanctions to be applied against us.

A club I love to see lose.

Never counted it as a rivalry -- Just a 5 minute hate between the 2 clubs supporters.
