I think this'll be close to being called off. Waterlogged pitch Tuesday, rain again on Wednesday albeit not as heavy and frozen temperatures since isn't a good mix.

If it goes ahead, we're just about full strength - just without Montsma or Archibad. The former is a big miss but we have decent replacement CB partnership in Jackson and Walsh.

As I said prior to the Gillingham game, we can be a little off it at home at times - either very good or not at the races, no real in between.

Wimbledon 8 games without a win, Crewe 9 games undefeated. Plus Crewe best Wimbledon away from home in that sequence. It should all point into only one outcome, a comfortable home win. Football is never that simple though and this is just the sort of game it springs a surprise.

hopefully Pickering is fit after being forced off vs Bristol Rovers, I’m expecting Offord to be out a while after also getting injured in the same game. We’ve brought back former academy graduate Billy Jones so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him slot straight in.

im hoping for
Richards

Jones
Beckles
Lancashire
Pickering

Wintle
Lowery
Finney

Dale
Mandron
Kirk

hoping for a comfortable win it’s seems ages since we had one, but I’m expecting another tight game. Crewe 2-1 Wimbledon (Mandron, Kirk, Piggott)

We have Sheffield United. Had it been at home would have fancied our chances a bit more. The players have been to Sunderland Tuesday, and now Yorkshire, presumably going up today.

Rochdale at home, beat them with ease before Christmas, not expecting a game as easy as that one, hopefully we will go into the game with a lot more confidence after last weeks win at accrington.

Both sides to get between 2 and 5 goals. Gills probably the likelier to get the most, but you never know.

We ought to have Gabriel Osho, from Luton, starting at Centre Back. He looks to be a big lad, which we desperately need. Hope he knows how to find Row Z in emergencies, which has not been a feature of our defensive play for a while.

Likely (hopefully) team: Bazunu; McLoughlin, Osho, Roberts, Keohane; Morley, Lund, Rathbone; Beesley, Humphrys, Baah.

Well we have managed to find ourselves a right full back, Janoi Donacien on loan from Ipswich and ex Accy. If we play as we did in the 1st half against MK Dons we've no chance, if we did like in the 2nd we can win. Never won away at Wigan , even in the old Lancashire Combination ! so theres a first time, a fighting 2-1 win to the the Cod Army

I hope it does. I don't think I could stand a third suspension in a row, even if we are likely to get tonked.

One of the strongest line-ups we have put out this season, can be no excuses for not winning today.

Due to the restrictions IFollow sensibly using just the home commentary instead of having travelling away commentators, but one Lincoln commentator is on speed and is very excitable and the other one is monosyllabic. Very strange mix.

Anyway in a wonderful surprise we’ve gone 4-3-3 and have come flying out the blocks at Lincoln

Crewe 1-1. Possibly our worst 1st half performance of the season. GK is terrible, as bad as the other one. Adebisi looks like he’s not ready for this level. Very questionable positioning, at times looks like he thinks he is playing left side of a back 3. Finney offers nothing as a midfielder, offers nothing in a scrap. Yet he keeps scoring. Billy Jones comfortably the best player on the pitch. Kirk done ok as well.

I think we will probably go on to win. Doubt that Wimbledon can keep their pressing going for the full 90 (unless they use their 5 subs wisely).

Oh and the pitch is horrible. Not sure how we can play Football properly on it.

Denied a pretty clear penalty in the 81st minute Lincoln make it 2-0 in the 84th. Fuck.

Ref has been shit all afternoon and that’s the icing on the cake. Fuck sake.

I actually thought today was quite watchable. Nothing in the game, deserved at least a point but ultimately didn't score. Getting ever closer to not beating a top 6 side for 2 years now, though.

Table looks grim.

Not sure why Adebisi played the full 90. Jones should have gone LB and Johnson RB. Effectively played with 10 men today. Not fair to leave a young man trying to make his way in the game on for 90 mins when he is playing THAT bad.

Wouldn't have taken Lowery off. Would have taken Finney off for Murphy and brought on Walker for Porter at the same time. Lowery wasn’t up to much today, but as is always the case we do look more in control with him on the pitch. I can understand why Finney was left on, because he does score a lot. I just felt if we had more control today, we would have broken them down at some point.

And finally, onto the pitch. This is not a criticism of anyone as you can’t control the weather. But I think our pitch could be the biggest enemy between now and the end of the season.

Great goal by Danny Rose for the Cobblers, goal of the season contented there!

Got the 3 points, didn't play very well but moved it quicker in the second half and just about deserved it.

Northampton much better than the reverse fixture, really harried us in the 1st half but we had that extra gear. Didn't really trouble Palmer and I think the non penalty decision was the right call, Bridcutt just got enough of the ball - was umpires decision really.

Please to grind a win like that as it had shades of B Rovers earlier on in the season which we lost.

2-0. That was our first league game in three weeks and it showed, but a win is a win. We were particularly rusty and far from at our best.

Credit to Rovers. They kept plugging away even when the game was gone. They weren’t terrible, however offensively they were pretty ineffectual.

Another 2-2! And a mirror image of our game against you last month or whenever it was.

I didn't watch but it sounds like you probably should have ended up winning in the end. The sort of game where at 2.55 you are delighted of you get a point but at 4.55 you are gutted. I'm pretty content, sounds like there were positives against a very strong Charlton side.

Many of our fans had your commentary team today and were impressed with their lack of bias and overall commentary and actually showed some knowledge about our team etc. Fair play.

Bonne chance for the season.

I think McWilliams coming back, who was injured for the reverse, and Morris coming in revistalised the midfield, so we actually did some pressing today and gave a much better account of ourselves than the 4-0. Still don't see where we create the chances from to score though, can't just hope that Rose get's a screamer week after week.

We certainly were terrible. 1 shot on target and that was after well over an hour. A team made up of defensive players yet we couldn't defend.

Manager playing players out of position when it wasn't needed

Awful. We are going down for sure.

I actually think you’re probably doing yourselves a disservice on that performance. However when you’re in the bottom four, I understand there are few misgivings!

Tactically we found it tricky to play around you, though I’m unsure how much of that was awkwardness over quality of personnel. It looked like wing backs with a diamond? It didn’t look at all fluid, but it stopped us playing.

I actually think IF you had a Matt Taylor sort up top, it would probably grind out results. Hanlon and Ayunga are not the sort of forward you want to nick a goal.

Rose scored a worldy and hit the post with another one for the cobblers, who I also thought were denied a penalty. But, I thought that on the balance of play Lincoln deserved it - Northants were pretty good in the first half, but actually created nothing, whereas we were under the cosh a bit but also had one cleared off the line. We were much better in the second half, and the game was done and dusted before Northants scored.

They were much better than last time, and if they play like that they'll stay up. Bolger was fantastic - never played like that for us!

Surprised by Northampton today. They certainly played better than the reverse fixture a month ago. Despite this, they were lacking in creativity up front - did Palmer have a save to make apart from picking the ball out the net at the end?

We struggled first half but should have gone ahead with the effort cleared off the line. 2nd half we were able to get down the wings more and looked much more dangerous. It looked as though it was going to be one of the those games but 2 late goals did it for us. On seeing the possible penalty first time, I didn't think it was but one that you wouldn't have argued against if it had been given.

Fair play to Northampton though, they stayed in the game and that goal was ridiculous.

No where near good enough today. Worst we’ve looked in a while. Adebisi really worries me at left back, far too green yet. Richards had a horrid game in goal, Porter I just don’t think cuts it at this level at his age. If we had Mandron and Pickering fit we would have won today. I thought Jones had a solid 2nd debut attacked more than I thought he would, he faded in the second half but he’s not played much so that’s expected.

Shame that one of the 3 signings wasn't a goalkeeper.

Well we stopped a run of 3 successive defeats and deserved a point. Dont be fooled by Latics lowly position, they are in a 5 game unbeaten run and a difficult side to play against

Good debut performance from our new full back JD, Alex Cairns did everything right in goal, Sam Finlay had another terrific game in the middle and Paddy Madden is a great leader up front -he needs a goal to get him on another run. Still missing our 2 wide players Burns and McKay and they will make a big difference when back

Important win today ahead of Portsmouth on Tuesday and Doncaster on Saturday.

Not sure our line-up/formation quite worked in the first half, it was basically 4-1-5 with the type of players we had on the pitch.

We got completely outplayed today, no other way to put it - hopefully we can look back at it as just a bad day and a wake up call. Hull were very, very good - their third goal (and the buildup) was a league above in quality. Lewis-Potter is a real talent.

Yeah, we should have won fairly comfortably in the end but story of our last few months. Wasteful in attack, hopeless at the back.

Hmmm one of our commentators is quite good and knowledgable, the other one is bit of clown who comes out with the same few phrases and seems to think the ref should give absolutely everything to us.
