Another 4 bookings for us today makes it 39 in 12 league games. That really doesn't help our cause.

Scrappy win for Pools, neither keeper had much to do but we took our chances, Halifax better team first half but were utter dog shit in the second even before that donkey Bell got himself sent off.
Think you've summed that up fairly. Pools adapted to the conditions better and were clinical. General play wise there was really nothing in it

You think we were "dog shit" second half? Really? They got 2 lucky breaks of the ball in midfield, and finished them well enough, but Bell's petulance in booting the ball away was always going to end in a second yellow later on. This defeat is on him!

I wouldn't say "dog shit" but it was underwhelming. Other than a long-range Summerfield effort that went just wide we created nothing second half. Bell certainly didn't help but the game was over as soon as they went 2-1 up imo. We were toothless in the second half.

Not a spectacle at the stadium cabbage patch in Dover for the TV cameras, one goal was just about enough against 10 men. Shame we don’t play tomorrow to try and get some momentum.
