Pretty much a full fixture tomorrow night.

Big game for us, away at Pompey. They blew us away in the reverse fixture although we were depleted. Coming off a 4-0 defeat at the weekend I'd expect them to come out all guns firing. They have 22 players to choose from for the game - how the other half live!

Our away form has been fantastic and we're pretty much injury free other than Lewis Montsma who will again be a big blow. Would be delighted to bring anything back from this fixture - we have a huge month of games coming up so will be nice to still be in contention coming out of it.

Big five games coming up for us - Portsmouth, Doncaster, Gillingham, Hull, Accrington.

As for tomorrow, although Portsmouth will come up a very different team to the depleted one back in November, this is still a tough ask. They're the best side we've played this season, but we're generally good away from home.

I'd take a draw and move on here. Pompey will want to come out firing after having a bad result against Hull, although it doesn't take a genius to work out that it's an anomaly for them.

Gillingham away for us tomorrow, the scene of the best game of football I've ever watched in a ground when we beat them 4-3 in the 2011-12 season.

If we're missing Mandron and Pickering tomorrow I'll be very nervous. And we don't keep clean sheets either. And we definitely need a centre forward because, as much as I love Porter, he's not a League One goalscorer like Mandron is and we're in dire need of one more signing, a target man to relieve Mandron when injured or in need of a rest, if we really want to keep our good form going.

I like our young LB Rio Adebisi but he struggled against Joe Pigott and Cheye Alexander on Saturday. He'll have a tough task keeping Vadaine Oliver (awful for us but effective everywhere else it seems) and maybe John Akinde quiet. He'll be a star in the future but he needs to work on the physical side of his game over the next few months if he's going to reach his potential. We may be forced to start him and because of this, I'm expecting a lot of attacks from Gillingham to come down his side.

I predict the end of our 10 game unbeaten run tomorrow with a 2-0 Gills win.

Bostock didn’t sign in time for tonight, Copps, Gomes, John-Joules all out so still very thin in numbers. A game we need to win to keep the pressure on the top but we’ve struggled of late and the tonkin at West Ham wouldn’t have helped, hoping for a win but expecting a draw.

I think we’ve lost every single time we’ve played midweek!

Something to look forward to this evening!

Home tonight against the Cobblers and looking for that elusive win . We did'nt do bad at the weekend against Wigan and finished the game strongly. A clean sheet was a step in the right direction but up front there has been a dearth of goals so heres hoping for a single goal from somewhere to secure a 1-0 win for the Cods

Gills away. They completed a classic smash and grab at Gresty Rd. The keeper was very good that day but I think he was a loan keeper that’s gone back thankfully. I expect we will dominate possession, but Gills will be a danger on the break and from set pieces. If Mandron and Pickering are fit I’m confident we will win, without them we might have to settle for a draw.

Agree about the game at Gresty Road havent seen such daylight robbery as we did that night.
The match will depend on what gillingham side turn up if it the one that played vs accrington I fancy our chances of nicking the points if it's the usual shit of late crewe will walk away with the points comfortably.

Considering our own lack of firepowet, think 0-0 might be a good bet for this one. Is the game likely to be on with the weatget forecast?

Need a big bounce back tonight after getting stuffed by Hull at the weekend. If we lose to Lincoln then our auto promotion hopes will start to look shaky again. No excuses with a strong squad and very few injury worries.

Hope we give a much better account of ourselves than the reverse fixture where we were well beaten although we were hit with injuries at the time. It'll be interesting what side Appleton puts together although we have few options to change things. The only real change is maybe McGrandles for Rogers to give us a bit more physicality in midfield but for us our team pretty much picks itself other than been without Lewis Montsma which is a blow.

Had a few sluggish starts recently which we came out unscathed but with the quality Pompey have we really can't be doing that this time out. With Donny on Saturday and Hull not far away it's a real milestone 4 or so weeks for us. If we can continue picking up 2 points per game we'll have a real shout, I just keep expecting us to come up short. None of us expected to be where we are so to be in with a shout is all credit to the players and Appleton who has really kicked us on.

Crewe’s worst starting 11 of the season by an absolute country mile. If we get anything less than absolutely tonked I will be shocked.

Mounting pressure continues in Ipswich.

Blue Action Group, EADT & Ipswich Star newspapers, and ITFC Serbia group have all called for Lambert's departure.

Can't see us getting anything from tonight's game either; hope I'm wrong but even if I'm not I still doubt whether ME will make a switch considering his second public backing of Lambert in as many weeks.

Could be tough tonight at the Gills, still no Pickering, Offord and now Billy Jones so the youngster Johnson and Adebisi play full back. Also Mandron only fit enough so a slightly past it Porter starts upfront. Bench looks stronger than it has for a long while though, so hopefully stay on the game and our subs might get us over the line.

Not as confident as I might have been a week ago, Swindon appear to have bolstered their team a bit. And we know from experience that they have a manager who is good at grounding out hard earned points when a team is suffering. Without Sheridan we would have gone into the Conference.

Hopefully Jephcott continues his goal scoring form. Seems rather unusual for us to have a hot property goal scorer. He is 21 today.

I suspect Ennis will get some time too.

We haven’t put in a good performance for a few weeks and the starting 11 is getting weaker by the day. Another draw will be fine.

Is Sheridan still playing his version of 5-3-2. It was essentially very defensive with five defenders. It was mostly dull to watch, but effective in staving off relegation. However, the next year when we were looking for promotion it was too limited as an attacking mode.

352 needed second half. Both full backs off. Walker and Sass-Davies on. This team would struggle to beat anyone at this level. An utterly bizarre team selection. If you’ve got injuries, change the system for the odd game. Decisions like this make me struggle to jump on the Artell bandwagon like the rest of our fans. He makes some fucking whopping decisions.

The sheer arrogance of our club. Thinking we can turn up at a place like Gillingham with a starting 11 like that? Some of the comments I saw on twitter pre match were nothing short of embarrassing. Deserve everything we get tonight. To think we could have been in the play offs (albeit probably only for an hour or 2) had we won tonight.

Completely disrespectful to your club the team we have put out tonight. We deserve nothing less than an absolute shafting.

Was really dreading the game tonight as weve been shit at home lately, you were 10 unbeaten and the way you play.
Got to say for Evans has his tactics spot on tonight

Not that I want to detract from your performance too much, as you thoroughly deserve your lead. But the team we have put out tonight would struggle to beat anyone in this league.
