Under the original rules proper status is lost after 5 years in non-league, which leaves Wrexham and Lincoln screwed, or a 2nd relegation to non-league which screws York. Proper status can only be gained after 25 years consecutively in the FL aka the great 92.

So according to the rules the only 'proper' club at this level are Tranmere. The rest of us are tinpot clubs, NLLers (Non-League Lifers), lucky to be on the same pitch as such luminaries.

Sutton United, tinpot and sort of proud of it

I refuse to acknowledge these arbitrary rules.

You will all be delighted to know that Miller is starting ahead of Pinnock.

No surprise that Raggett is straight back in for us in place of Howe, Anderson injured so Hawkridge keeps his place but surprising to see Power in for Whitehouse.

Harrad scores to make it Wrexham 1-0 FGR

FGR have had a penalty saved and to be honest we are winning against the run of play

Southport 3 - 3 Braintree....after 36 minutes

Clearly a game between two sides who are either unable, or can't be bothered, to defend!

Wrexham 2-0 FGR HT

We've rode our luck as FGR have been the better side really but we've taken our chances and they haven't. Our on loan keeper Coddington has been excellent as well.

Tearing Torquay anew here. Should be five but for some good saves, bad finishing and an incorrect offside goal.

Sounds like we've been all over Maidstone but not had a shot on target, just lacking the final ball or things not quite clicking. With Wrexham beating FGR and Tranmere and Barrow winning, we need to come out strong in the second half and put one away.

But with showboating by McNulty and just poor distribution from Sutton, while there's only a goal in it, the points not a given

We are huffing and puffing by the sounds of it, Maidstone had some decent chances too.
Need to be winning this to take advantage of what is happening above us.

Barrows 2nd goal came in injury time a quick counter attack with Richie Bennett unselfishly squaring for Byron Harrison who couldn't miss. clinical so far.

I think Torquay may have a claim under that definition. They've had a couple of spells in non league but I don't think they've been down for 5 consecutive years yet.

2 relegations to Non-League equals tinpot.

0-0 at Sutton. Both sides have had chances. Shots are down to 10 men after one of their players decided to shove a Sutton player in the face in injury time
