We're off to Petersfield, our furthest away game of the season I believe.

We hosted them in the opening game, and had a tough time against a well organised side. Since then they had a series of bad results before picking up more recently. I anticipate another tough game similar to the first match of the season. Hopefully we can pull through and win though.

Welling. Urgh, fuck off. I hope we massacre them.

8-0 home win, 5 away fans, Rhead with seven goals, with the other being an 80-yard volley from Paul Farman's manhood.

There will be so many flags at flag day that Macclesfield will be playing into a gale.

Cofie will have an instant impact. Roasting the silkmen and making the home fans crema

3 wins in a row, starting to get some momentum. Two new loanees, struggle to see how they will both fit it without disrupting several players. Predict either a hard fought win or a draw.

Off to Borehamwood tomorrow for some more punishment. I'm happy that this game is segregated so as not to endure further piss taking at close quarters, as encountered by the wits of Woking who dug up every old joke in the book during Tranmere's collapse on Tuesday nights unsegregated tie.
I'm going to go against the grain and predict 3-1 to Tranmere (McNulty hat trick) in front of 299 Rovers fans.

Not going to Barrow tomorrow. Been there, done that, on a Tuesday night and lost 2-0. Hopefully the new manager effect doesn't rub off on them.

Alty are no mugs, but with the weather being predicted to be fairly windy we should cope better given our size and physicality.

Need to start winning consistently now, after a tough run of games.

Met Police away. Yet another visit to Imber Court. I'm not fussed about performance, just want us through into the 1st round proper.

Hoping for a home game in the Trophy, after three tricky away fixtures in the FA Cup.

Hoping for a home game in the Trophy, after three tricky away fixtures in the FA Cup.

We haven't taken the Trophy seriously for years now unfortunately, on or off the pitch. We've rested players, been knocked out by lower division sides and had terrible attendances. Most of the games have been awful with no atmosphere as well.

To quote what an insider said to me a couple of years back, which put me off going to any more Trophy games "we want to be knocked out of these shit cups as quickly as possible to focus on the league."

Shame really, I used to really like the Trophy. But this year I actually agree with not bothering with it, we're going for promotion, that's far more important.

If Cheltenham can score they will win.
If they don't score it will be 0-0.
At 17:00 tomorrow night we will be officially renamed Aldershot Town Nil.

Welling have won all 5 of our games since their promotion.

4-4-2 for us I imagine. Wootton or Blissett to take Hearn's place. That said, could easily be 4-2-3-1 now we've got Stanley, Sparrow and Power all available again. Hawkridge is better further forward anyway.

Nuneaton Away in the Trophy. Pretty much the toughest tie we could have got. Played them there in the League a few back and was thrashed. Met them so many times over recent years plus we have already met in the Trophy in 2010/11 and 2013/14.

So Frankly this fixture is as bland as it gets.

I can see nothing other than an heavy defeat. Having said that though I thought the same before Harrogate but we dug in on that occasion. heres hoping we can do likewise tomorrow.

It's weird isn't it? Not sure I like no segregation.

We're going to get our pants pulled down live on TV. Great. Bring on the misery!

I do wonder whether our lads (the dozen or so that are actually fully fit) will half an eye on next week's game at Colchester in the FA Cup. Colchester lost at home to bottom-placed Crewe midweek and I reckon our squad will genuinely believe they can go there and win if they get some luck.

The difference in quality between us and FGR, the little bit of breathing space we have from the relegation zone and the potential for our mind being on the Cup, I think we'll probably lose by 2 or 3 tomorrow.

Wouldn't be surprised if Power played in the Hearn role tomorrow.
With Sparrow and Stanley holding then Tempest and Muldoon wide and Power off Rhead.
Hoping the players pull together after Hearn's departure as we owe Welling a beating.

I think we'll do it tomorrow, especially after what's happened rather than in spite of it. We're better than them and their luck against us isn't going to last forever.

Still fuming about that game at theirs a month and a half on, utter daylight robbery.

We've got nothing to lose tomorrow as I can't see us getting anything. A draw will feel like a win

Yeah didn't they have two shots on target and we had no end but couldn't get the ball in the net again.
Judging by Bradley Wood's interview the team are very together indeed.

We really need a win tomorrow v Bromley as November has been pretty miserable with 1 win followed by 3 losses

We'll got to Wrexham looking for the win tomorrow but most likely get picked off fairly easily. Comfy home win.

Similar situation to us and Kiddy. Drew on the opening match, then they were obviously awful for a few months but have chalked up a couple of wins over the last few weeks. Hopefully Hurst won't decide to rest any key players and we don't approach this with an air of complacency. Glad we've shaked the Kiddy bogey side thing over the last couple of seasons, but still feel a bit wary when we play them. Any kind of win will do here.
