Well, late posting this having been overcome by apathy.

The only games that anything major rests on are:

Hudds v Orient
Reading v Barnsleh

Since the last playoff spot is still up for grabs.

My only hope for tomorrow is that we can somehow work it out so we are not playing Charlton in the playoffs.

I don't trust us to beat *any* of the playoff contenders over 2 legs in all honesty, but Charlton would be the worst of all to face.

We are the most out of form of the playoff hopefuls, having relied on our first half season form to get us to where we are. Charlton have already done the double over us, and I would suspect will easily make it a hat-trick.

The ideal would be for us to face Orient or Reading - I'm certainly not taking either of those for granted either and both beat us in our most recent game against them, but that would be the least worst option.

It just feels really odd right now, it should be something exciting to still have something to play for at this stage and it feels strange to be so apathetic in the circumstances, but our football has absolutely gone backwards under Dodds.

Grindy negative football is just about tolerable if it gets you results...but we're not even very good at it.

And having had one of the outbreak stars of the season in Richard Kone, we are now playing him in an isolated lone striker role which doesn't play to his strengths, he's not a target man who's going to beat big lump centre backs so I have no idea why we persist in using him like this.

But we are where we are.

See both of the play off chasers winning those matches tbh, but let's be honest eyes will be on other divisions as everything else is wrapped up.

As for us, do we have to? More focus is likely to be on whether the Brummies in the home end behave themselves over anything else.

Even if we balls it up in our usual fashion, we’ve still had a very good season.

Shame all of our best players will either be sold or returned to their parent clubs.

We’re not really ready for the step up but we shall give it our best shot.

Sold all our 2300 tickets, very impressive for us.

Will be 57/58 games for me this season and 46/46 in the league for the 9th time.

Watching the Championship climax, they have said all games start the second half at the same time, I presume it's the same today though lets face it they only need to coordinate Orient and Reading games.

No strikers in the side as Cox and Magennis are injured, so presumably we do a Man City pre-Haaland formation.

Might watch it, might not

Looks like we’re treating this as a dead rubber and resting players.

I kind of get it, but the manager also said our aim is to get back some confidence and momentum after losing the last two…in which case you’d hope to play your best side, no?

Oh well. Probably a moot point, we’re fucked anyway as far as the playoffs go.

1-0 up at HT. Stockport looking like the home side and being far more attacking than we are. Our goal was pretty much against the run of play.

Anyway, they're still very much in this, it's really hard to play as defensively as we have been for the full 90, one slip can lead to a goal - so no complacency from the players please.

Clinical stuff from us. Professional performance right to the end, nobody scared to get injured ahead of Vegas (A) next week.

Okonkwo is the best keeper in this league and nobody will convince me otherwise. On we go again.

Well, shite end to the season but I can’t say I’m surprised. We weren’t going to win the playoffs anyway, so I suppose at least the fact we drew the short straw with Charlton gets our elimination out of the way.

Oh well. Back to league poo.

Dead rubber we managed to win but our defence still manages to concede against ten men.

Now how many will still be here at the start of next season? Of our players the only one who really deserves a start in a proper league 1 side is Liam Fraser (maybe Pan Camara). Jeremy Kelly and Heburn-Murphy could do a job at the lower end of the table and if wouldn't surprise me to see someone take a chance on Charlie Barker. The rest found the physicality beyond them and broke down way to often.

Hope to see you again sometime.

Well done on cementing your play off place. You’ve put together a very impressive run of results since Christmas, and were by far the best team we played at the Abbey this season on a one off performance. No reason you can’t take that form into the play offs and get a Wembley day out?

…and whilst I’m throwing tantrums that we drew Charlton, I don’t mean to imply that Orient would have been an easy option at all, we’re well out of form whoever we might have landed, and I have no faith we could beat any top team over two legs.

Right now we are lacking identity and spirit, and that falls on the manager to my mind.

Dreadful penalty from your lad, but given we've come from behind in our last umpteen games I'd still have backed County even at 0-2 down

Andresson is going to be a very good striker indeed
