Gime Toure’s unplayable today. Looks a good signing given the Hartlepool fans were glad to see the back of him..

That wasn't the reaction at all from most Pools fans, he is clearly talented but every single team Gime has played for go through the same reaction, to how good a player he is to he clearly can't be arsed any more, it'll happen here too, enjoy him whilst he's on it.

Easy afternoon for Carlisle so far, we're clueless. Hardly surprising that we're struggling to create when our backup right back is playing on the left wing.

Yeah you're not so 'Barrowcelona' today are you.

Carlisle down to ten but can't see us making the most of this.

Idiotic from Hayden. This will ultimately cost us the match and I’m fucking disgusted.

Not sure if soft is the right word when he's getting stretchered off.
The injury was unfortunate but Hayden only really hit him with his thigh, there was no foot to ankle contact. Freak injury and I think Haydens been sent off because of the injury from an otherwise innocuous coming together, there's no malice in it. He's just thrashing around in the floor and hits the Barrow player with his thigh.

1-0 Mansfield, great goal by McLaughlin that has been coming from a much improved performance in the second half, Maynard should have scored beforehand too. Still a tight game.

Back in it having been knocking on the door most of the half, first goal for us from Matt. Would be lovely to go on and make those stats count, please :D

Very soft penalty given to Morecambe and now lead 1-0. Been a pretty awful game overall, not helped by the conditions.

Absolutely mugged here. Never a penalty and we’ve had nearly all the play

Hahahahaha. Wow.

Only way to score against us is by cheating it seems. Disgusting penalty decision. I've seen more contact from people in different postcodes. Madley making himself look a clown.

Should be looking at 4 games unbeaten, 4 clean sheets and building nicely. Yet that's been completely bollocksed by the clown with the whistle. Infuriating.

1-1 terrible mistake by Bowery, every time we take the lead we bottle it with a individual mistake.

The Referee gave Newport a undeserved (not that it matters to them) win.

Four games in, and I’m utterly fed up. Last week I can take, a poor performance and a deserved defeat. But to score a beauty like that, and to end up losing due to two individual mistakes (one by Bowery and one by referee) I imagine our confidence is well and truly in the gutter, can anybody explain how it feels to win a game?

Think that game sums up how our season is going to go. So much pretty passing but zero goalscoring threat. We then concede any chance the opposition has. Going to be a long old season.

Absolutely robbed there, we won’t have that much possession again away from home in the next decade.

Referee was dire, some real play acting by Morecambe and the penalty was typical of that. Kenyon was atrocious with some of it. They do it to us every time!

They set up for a 0-0 and took advantage of the opportunity to go down and get a smash and grab.

We have to better going forward though. It’s three points dropped there because with that much of the play we should be better and putting teams that sit that deep away over 90 minutes and haven’t really done enough.

Frustrating.

First defeat of the season thanks to what looked a really poor decision from the referee.

With that said at no point did we do enough to win the game. We had most of the ball but created absolutely nothing. Going to have to find a way with teams who just stick everyone behind the ball as Morecambe won't be the last team who do this against us given how successful it was today.

Didn't think we were at our best today but we didn't have to be as Scunny were poor. Also worth noting we were missing Feeney, Blackett-Taylor, Ferrier and Woolery so done well to get the job done in tricky conditions.

Two tough trips in Salford and Newport away next up for us but would be great to really kick on from here.
