Feels about right for Bradford, though I would say that we have chronically underachieved since the turn of the century (aside from 2012/13 to 2015/16).

Well I saw them in the second tier when they finished 4th. I can tell you they were a bloody good team.

I like it. Alongside the current league tables its a great guide and barometer as to each clubs true position in the footballing history books. Aka just how shit you really have been over the past 50 years. This is a debate ender and I suspect very useful.


55th in English football for the world's oldest professional club. I'll take that especially as I've witnessed the majority of them.

How does your club stack up over the past half century?

Exactly where I'd put us. Borderline of League One and League Two. I wouldn't class us as a League One regular like Bristol Rovers, Plymouth or Blackpool but also not League Two regulars like Mansfield, Rochdale and Exeter too. Playing in the Championship for a decent spell and floating between the leagues over the last 35 years means we're absolutely spot on where we are.

Interesting to note that Mansfield are overachieving by failing to get out of L2 every season.
