I read [and don't know the truth of it] that Holness only got sent off after the referee was confronted by a Dover possee after he'd blown the final whistle.

However the red card was awarded, it was a horrible tackle (forward to 09.55, with a slo-mo for good measure)

Would agree,but it also looked like there was a 2-footed challenge by the Dover player, which deserved similar sanction.

I quite like Holness, but he does make some really ill-considered challenges, often under the nose of the officials.
